I've been told countless times by other staff members to be patient when I've been asking 
vb3 is sooo much better. I also hope they'll get rid of certain ads in the upgrade... |

Yes, please be patient. There is considerably more work involved in switching to the almost completely newly programmed vB3 for a forum of this size and complexity than you may realise, so it does take time.
It is being worked on by myself and various other administrators, and will be unleashed When It's Done™. Just please have patience until then, and enjoy using the current LucasForums in the meantime.

It's not a case of them taking it away when they upgrade, it's a case of them having to add it to the new vb3 system if they wanted to keep it and considering that would be too much work and take up too much time for something that the majority of forum users don't even use, it would be a little pointless to do. So they're simply not including it in the upgrade as apose to taking it away, and with good cause.
