Automatic Subscription

Is it possible for an option to be added that automatically subscribes to each thread you post in? On every forum I'm in I live off User CP keeping a watchful eye over what threads are being responded to and trudging through 3 or 4 forums to see if anyone has bothered replying yet (or forgetting to manually subscribe and having to search out threads I've replied to to do it) is starting to get frustrating.

It would be seriously appreciated if it could be done.

Its in your user cp under options
Quote:
Use 'Email Notification' by default?

Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in.

You mean you can't subscribe to threads without getting e-mailed? :S

Ack. I'm shure it's possible as almost every other forum I'm on has the ability to do this. I just want the threads I've commented on to appear in my User CP, e-mails would be a pain in the arse if the subject was popular!

Well, that's the whole point of suscribing to the thread. It notfies your e-mail whenever theres a new post.

Sorry if I didn't make it clear it was User CP only subscriptions I was asking for. That way my e-mail doesn't get clogged up and when I log on I can jump straight to my User CP and find all my subscribed threads there. Is it possible to make it an option on this here forum?

Technically it should already be happening. I'm not entirely sure what you're asking though. If it's for a thread to be subscribed to once you post in it so it appears in your user CP, then that technically should already be happening unless you've switched it off accidentally in the options. But it is possible to turn off email notification in the options.

Didn't it used to keep track of your most recent posts?
Mine doesn't do that anymore.
