If it hasn't happened yet, I'm kinda guessing that it probably won't.

Lucasarts has shown a marked shift away from the PC as a gaming platform of late. I'm guessing that the days of PC ports of popular console games is quickly coming to an end, and that we are going to see far more console-excusive games released from our fave game-maker.

Sigh...

yeah i was really looking foreward to rogue leader back in the day......hehe once the new systems come out, gonna snatch a cube and a copy of that game.

Battle is a pure form of expression. It is heart and discipline, reduced to movement and motion. In battle, the words are swept away, giving way to actions-- mercy, sacrifice, anger, fear. These are pure moments of expression.

I don't think we'll be seeing any more Rogue Squadron games.

I think you underestimate Lucasarts' amazing ability/desire to milk a franchise (even a sub-sub-franchise) for all it's worth, and then some.

So, we won't be seeing any more RS games... until LA comes up with the newest idea they feel they can squeeze in to the series

Well, we won't see any for a while because Factor 5, I last read, was working on something else.

Vader's wife was very pregnant when she died 19 years ago. All of a sudden a 19 year old who is very strong in the force and has a distinct resembalance to him in his younger days rolls in from Vader's home planet with his old Master Obi-Wan (Who was the ONLY other person preset at the time his wife died. And to boot, the kid's last name is Skywalker.

So in answer to your question, he knew Luke was his son because his name is Darth Vader, and not Darth Retard.

I don't thinke LucasArts has ANY interest in Rogue Squadron. The only reason 2 and 3 came out was because of Factor 5 and Nintendo.

And, I think there won't be another one soon. Factor 5 is developing the PS3 title lair

So unless one of us starts to make videogames, strikes a deal with LucasArts to continue the series and releases another RS game, it's all over.

We're not.......we'll just need to find a way to convince LFN that Lair has something to do with LEC, then maybe they won't just make us part of the classic SW games section......

Hey guys I still love Rouge Squadron and the only reason I ever get out my dusty game cube is to play it. I wish they would make more but I think the bleak truth is that Nintendo is going down and RS no longer has that big a fan base any more. I would still love them to bring out a new one.

You don't know anything do you XD

It's got nothing to do with Nintendo, it's the fact that LucasArts and Factor 5 have lost all interest in the series. Plus Nintendo is far from going down XD In fact they're going very strong.

they should make another Rogue Squadron game....based on the original, a sequel would ROCK.

A Rogue Squadron game would be great on the Revolution... but it's not gonna happen, unless another developer goes to LucasArts to pick up the rights for it.

Multi-tasking optional, yes. Remember the GBA can be a multimedia device if you want it to, you just have to buy an addon to do it. Therefore Nintendo's systems are still purely for gaming. They're just giving the option to expand that to people who really want it.

I don't know that there's a demand for another Rogue Squadron series installment at this point, anyway. That's why we got Rogue Leader, which I still really wish they'd ported to the PC, but hey... what can you do?
