Screen caps
OK, I know how to do screencaps, simply by pressing the "print screen" button, but I was trying to take screencaps of music videos and when I pasted the pic, it was only a black square rather than the actual picture of the video itself...does anybody know how to fix that?

You can get the free Fraps 1.9 (all subsequent versions are Shareware). It will save the images directly to the hard disc as large BMP files (therefore I suggest converting them to JPG/PNG).

Also, a useful program would be HyperDx, or Snapshot, they'll save pictures as .gif directly, you can find em over at download.com

Why beat the shyte out of McCoy when you can easily beat the ****e out of McCoy!?
Ahahhh trivialities, at least we're agreed that beating McCoy is a good thing!

Yes, and we're not even in the need for an extra camera man. Life can be so easy and cheap!

...No. Nobody's ever too young for anything. Well...except for some things...some things that don't include beating up a fellow forum-goer.
BTW - Thanks for the links (Not you, Doc )

i found that out ages ago and you can sort of make a crappy temporary music player in paint or whaterver. if you drag the video near the square but minimize the player, the black square becomes the screen... although its not really "black" as such. its not a colour.... rather a material.....

Yeah, I know, when I tried doing it on MSPaint yesterday, I saw the picture was still moving and I was like "whoa" and then I realized it was just messed up like that, lol.
