Help! MI4's screwed up!

I recently bought Escape from Monkey Island for Ps2. When I save the game, and then want to load or save again, the game tells me that there is no Memory Card inserted. I have tried with different memory cards (both with more than 3 megs free on each), so could anyone tell me how to overcome this nasty bug? By the way, the game was used when I bought it and not in the best shape, but the game still works, but could that be the problem?

I remember it happened to me as well but I realized that i was trying to save it on the disc it self. So you have to make sure that you are opening the game from the PC not from the CD.

he said for the Playstation2, not PC.

As for your thread title, we all here know very well that MI4 is screwed up. I don't know if there is a fix, but you may have to beat the game in one sitting.

thanks, but I didn't do that, heard there wasen't any solution, so I exchanged it.
