First you'll need to make an .UTS
template for your sound, which are used for placeable sounds. The UTS file sets the Resref of the sound file to play and determines if it should be a looping, reoccuring or single-shot sound, and if it starts playing automatically. It also sets things such as the volume, pitch and radius and elevation of the sound. The easiest way is to copy and existing UTS file and make changes to suit your need.
Then you need to place your placeable sound in the area. If you are using a GFF editor (KGFF), open the GIT file and add a new entry to the SoundList
. Here you'll set the x,y,z coordinates of where you want your sound to be placed, and the resref of the UTS file you created.
