Hollywood? You do realize the entire thing is british, it's only released through an American company, correct?

I personally found the part in book with the S.P.E.W badges and Winky rather stupid. I am rather glad they didn't include it.

You can't have an intermission during a movie. It just doesn't work.
But you're right, it whould have been longer. Return of the King was 3-1/2 hours long, for cring out loud!

An intermission would work. The movie, Tatanic had an intrmission....yes, Harry Potter could've easy been three and a half hours. The Goblet of Fire is the longest book that has been made into a film.

I would have been upset had there been an intermission. I don't want anything interupting my movie.

Well, I'd personally rather have an intermission than have the movie split into two movies.

^They would have released both movies only weeks, maybe a few months, apart, I think. It's not like they would wait an entire year to release part two (unless the movie makers are stupid - wait... crap!).

I agree and disagree. I thought the whole SPEW thing was boring, but it WAS important to the story. The house-elves had a lot to do with the the story.

^I didn't like the SPEW part, but it showed how much Ron and Hermione "didn't get along", if you know what I mean.

Yeah. The movie left out a lot of little details that make up the big details in the Order of the Pheonix. J.K. Rowling seemed to make the small info turn out big in her following books.

Well, S.P.E.W was important in the book. In the movie, it would have been pointless.

I saw Goblet of Fire. It was very good and I'm very excited about it coming to DVD over here in Australia. I saw it twice in the cinemas. It's a bit jumpy at the start but it definitely had me hooked later on.

Bumped thread, eh? I guess it just came out on DVD so whatever. It doesn't seem to be as hot of a rental as I thought it'd be. Jarhead and Prime are hotter than this. Then again, we don't have as many copies of either of those as this so maybe that's why we're not being asked for this as often as those.
I saw the first one, the first 20 minutes of the second, most of the third, and read the first book. The third one seemed pretty cool with the whole time travel aspect to it. I hate Harry Potter. It's cool I guess for some people, but I just can't get into it. Narnia and Redwall are much better children's fantasy books.
Like to read? Like fantasy stories? Like doing people you've never met in person favors? Then read and review my original movie screenplay! You will, you must. It is your destiny....
Check out the best shots of all of my collections along with some of my better attempts at artwork here.
