It wasn't Arnold Schwartzenegger, it was his Simpson equivelant, Reiner (sp?) Wolfcastle, star of the reprehensible McBain movies.

Sorry Al, but can you please stop adding to your sig, in my opinion it's big enough as it is. Why not just have one of those for you avatar and just one sig?

Perhaps you should set a character-length limit for signatures, murta.

Not really the text, as most people don't have much text, it's just when people have very big sig pics/more than one pic in their sigs. Al resized his so, it's no problem any more (thanks Al), but it was pretty big before

Well, what I meant was there could be a length-limit for amount of characters, which would include text and UBB code. But if it's not a problem then don't worry about it <IMG SRC="http://www.escapemi.com/forums/smilies/cwm20.gif" border=0>

OK Al, now you've got 3 pictures in your sig. I'm gonna have to ask you to take 2 of them out, decide which one you want the most, or simply add the first 2 to the random image script
cheers

BTW, you can use the random text script now for your random quotes. I don't mind you using a random image and random text script together, as long as you add the first 2 pics to the random image script.
BTW, this is purely to save space and speed up loading times, as 3 pictures for 1 sig is just too many

erm:
a) it's not text, it's a picture of text and like I said, the random text script should work now
b) how can adding that 1800 pic to the random image script make your sig bigger?
of course it can't, it will be exactly the same size when that picture appears, but smaller when the other ones are up

let me demonstrate (single | = small pic, double | = big pic):
|
| |
2 pics side by side, the smaller pic has no affect on height, as the big pic is changing the cell height

|
|
One big pic on it's own, same height as with the small pic next to it

|
One small pic, smaller than both pics or big pic on it's own, as the small pic is now changing the cell height

now, with the random image script, only one pic will be displayed at a time. So when the 1800 pic (big pic) is displayed, it will be setting the cell height, and will be no bigger than now, as you ahve both the small and big pictures side by side

replacing the random quote pictures with normal random quote text will also reduce on the size, and having a random image script for your sig pics and a random text sig for the quotes will, almost all of the time, be smaller than your current sig. Unless there is a really big quote and the 1800 pic together

that probably made no sense, but i tried <IMG SRC="http://www.escapemi.com/forums/smilies/cwm1.gif" border=0>

oh, ok, i just wasnt considering the 1st pic to be IN the ramdom pics...

i coudnt make the quotes work for 2 reasons:
-it just didnt work
-it has to b i quote per line, but i have some quotes that are dialogue, and i couldnt find a good way to put in without skipping a line.

ok, to have seperate lines for the quote, simply put each quot eon one line and then put &lt;br&gt; every place you want a new line starting and then just press Return at the end of the quote
BTW, the script will work in your signature now, as I allowed html for sigs <IMG SRC="http://www.escapemi.com/forums/smilies/cwm29.gif" border=0>
