Question Help - the monster doesn't explode!!!

After reanimating the dead creature, the monster is supposed to explode, right?
Well, it is not, and I don't know why.
It keeps swallowing the poor beast again and again, so 'my' commander boston never gets the chance to dive into the water.
What's going on?

Can anybody send me a saved game right after the monster explosion?
It should be a 'dig.sXX' file...

Thanks in advance...
