how do you play mod maps on your pc? i downloaded but i dont know how to play.

That answers your question exactly. When you download a mod, you take the 3-digit folder from the mod, and copy/paste it in your addon folder, the instructions to get there were located in the hyperlinked thread.
Is your mod a map or a skin or a mod?

You need to unzip the file (right-click "extract files"), take the three-digit folder, and copy/paste THAT into your addon folder.

"Left" click on the zipped folder and when it opens you will see on the left:
"Extract", just click on "extract" and follow the instuctions that are given.
