Here's a better pic of it:
As any1 found lightsaber cristals on the real world too?

Nice find. Looks a little big to fit in a saber though :P
Maybe a slingshot would be a better use for it?

The closest i came to crystals was Blue john caves in castleton. But back then i was more Star Trek orientated and thought theyd make good dilithium.

Ahh, star sapphire. My sister-in-law has one on her engagement ring. Taking into account her boyfriend, I'd say it has the unfortunate property of -10 Intelligence and -20 Eyesight.

That's what is known as a star sapphire, not as highly valued as a gem quality sapphire, but they are used in rings and other jewelry and they do have some value. There are crystals in the real world to match the appearance of all of the saber crystals, and more, it's a cool hobby :O)

Was that that guy and that woman just before episode three who both had the ingenious idea of filling a flourescant tube with petrol...

Wow, thats harsh. To the comment of florescent lights with petrol, that is just insane, but would be cool if the flame was continuously any color other than what flame normally is.

^^Reserve judgement for after you've met the dude. He always reminds me of the comic book guy from the Simpsons, albeit with drug, alcohol and personality disorders.
