sith vs a bounty hunter really isn't comparable, mainly because them having the force...
im having a thought here, what if jango fett used a disruption rifle from kotor? lightsaber or no lightsaber you cant block that... im not an expert on darth maul but im not sure he can force choke or use lightning... still if it was a simple contest of coolness jango-fett would kick darth mauls *ss

Here is my scenario:
Jengo stalks maul to tatooine, Mos Eisley cantina.
Maul sits at the bar to get drunk and pick up chicks.
Jengo blends in with the crowd.
Maul gets drunk.
Jengo creeps toward Maul.
Than the server starts lagging, and a NGE has come! Than jengo sees how easy it is to get a jedi, and he becomes one. And kills Maul in an awsome saber battle.
Maul cries then dies.

Seriously though I don't care if people revive old threads as long as they contribute something meaningful. In this case it seems there were enough people willing to discuss it, that it really wasn't a problem. Why do we need to deluge each thread with "oh no, don't revive old threads!" just PM the person or PM one of us to complain, if it's really an annoyance (just FYI).


Seriously though, this idea that Jango is invincible is overplayed. He got killed easily my Mace Windu. I don't care if Mace Windu is (supposedly) this "Vapaad Master" (last I checked they weren't saber dueling, so this doesn't even matter) or that Jango's rocket pack "short circuited" (not like he would have won the fight anyway, he couldn't beat Obi-Wan, a supposedly weaker Jedi than Mace).

Plus, the idea that Jedi are invincible is also overplayed. Note how easily Jedi MASTERS were killed during Order 66. And last I checked Obi-Wan had to FLEE from Jango's assault.

I don't know the full capabilities of Maul's ship (wasn't it just a fighter with hyperdrive and a cloaking device that he never used?), but I imagine he'd be outgunned by the Slave-I. In open combat, Jango would probably have as much trouble with him as he did with the other two Jedi he fought (I don't count Parasauralophus-head, since all he did was just shoot the guy and he went down... I guess you could try to say the guy was the worst Jedi and/or Dooku somehow distracted him).

I hope i don't sound stupid but i didn't know he escaped from the sarlaac pit! Or was u kidding????? I thought when i first looked at this thread that it was pretty lame and stupid but suprisingly it's become a deep discussion.
