Holy Cow. Watch the video here. Listen in after 2,000 feet. He starts saying his goodbyes and then hits the ground at 80mph.

I couldn't hear anything when I played it. A bit of a boring video and it seems that the first quarter of the video was trying to make it like a long advert, before going into the footage, which wasn't that good. Sorry, I'm not impressed Boba.

Yes, I tried turning up my Computer's volume, but I couldn't hear anything, except things that would work, like Media Player.

Opps, sorry, I didn't notice that. Anyway, I've just seen it on the news and he survived. That was lucky. Sorry if I sounded stupid/insulting.

Sure helps that his chute didn't fully detach.

True, but still, his velocity was only cut down by a third (from a terminal velocity of 120mph) and two thirds of 120mph is still faster than I'd care to hit the ground.

Whew, the Good Lord was watching out for him that day.

From MST3K's spoof of "Hercules Unchained"--heard as Roman medic soldiers carry off an unconscious Greek Hercules on a 1950's Army green canvas stretcher: "Hi, we're IX-I-I. Did somebody dial IX-I-I?"

I saw that in the news, I couldn't believe it...I had to hunt down the Youtube videos just so I would know my ears weren't playing tricks on me. The scary thing is, after hearing all these skydiving horror stories, I still want to go.

Edit, I forgot to say how amazed I was that he didn't pass out from spinning in circles so fast...
