Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Teaser

http://comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=17569

It's a teaser that they are showing at the previews at Happy Feet. >_> Why not Casino Royale?! Meh. Hopefully we'll be able to see it soon in other places.

Teaser-trailer thingy.

The poster is the only thing I saw. The teaser will be released during the commercials for Happy Feet. But, I am sure it will be up on internet soon enough.

Eh, I'm seeing Casino Royale tomorrow. I want to see the teaser there. Happy Feet looks okay to me. I may see it....eventually.

Yes, there will be seven movies. And there is already 6 books out, and the 7th book will be released around the same time as the 5th movie.

And by the looks of it you missed Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (4th movie) and most of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (3rd movie). And you watched Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (1st movie) and Harry Potter and the Chamber's of Secrets (2nd movie).

Someone "pirated" the trailer and posted it on youtube. It's crap quality, so I'll wait for it to be released on the net.

This is just my opinion....

Heh, I blame my parents. They got the first book for my daughter about 6-7 years ago, and boom, that was it. It was nice to see her enthusiastic about reading for a change though. The last movie was too funny...puberty really hit that actor who plays Malfoy like a ton of bricks. The first couple of movies, he's this perfect little Hitler Youth wizard, now he's this gawky, gangly creature who makes Andy Dick look poised.

It's bothering me how 18 and 19 year old actors are playing characters that are supposed to be in their early teens.

But meh, I guess there's nothing we can do about it.

Yeah, too bad the teaser wasn't at Casino Royale... it will be up on You Tube soon enough I guess. Can't wait for this movie.

Isn't that how acting works? Older actors play roles more convincingly and look younger through acting/makeup?

Yeah, and anyways, theres no way they can get the actors to be the correct age because the movies are a year apart in story but are released every 2 years. And you definitely want to have the same actors and actresses for all of them.

Yeah, but I think they are releasing the trailer on the internet either today or within the next few days. I'm sure somebody will post it when it's out.

I tried reading the Order of the Phoenix book, but I didn't like it at all and I never finished it. The Prisoner of Azkaban and the Half-Blood Prince are my favourites. Goblet of Fire for me is the worse for me.

Also, off-topic, but I like the look of the new James Bond. Anybody hear about the man who changed his name to James *All James Bond films as his middle names* Bond?

OotP, I thought was a good book. I've only read GoF to HPB. I liked them all. And I hope they don't **** up this movie. Like they sort of did for the Goblet of Fire.

Here is the teaser. Looks pretty good, even though it is only a teaser.

Here some updated info.

Quote:
Corporation and Warner Bros. Pictures today announced that select scenes of the IMAX DMR® version of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will be digitally converted into An IMAX 3D Experience®. IMAX Corporation plans to use its proprietary 2D to 3D conversion technology to transform approximately 20 minutes at the end of the film - which is being digitally re-mastered into the unparalleled image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® using IMAX DMR (Digital Re-Mastering) technology - into IMAX® 3D. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will be released in IMAX® theatres and conventional theatres on July 13, 2007, and Warner Bros. Pictures will be the exclusive distributor of the film to IMAX theatres worldwide.
The Link.

Also, the new Harry Potter movie site is to be updated later this week I think.

LOL, you didn't HAVE to watch the whole trailer you know.
You could have stopped when you realised you weren't watching the Harry Potter trailer.

It linked to the trailer originally. I think it was bundled with the Happy Feet theatrical release.

You lazy bums could have just googled for it.

I'm kinda wanting to check out the game. It's supposed to let you free roam everywhere.

Ah, yes. Maybe this thread should be re-named or something. I'll edit or inserted the new site at the beginning of the thread. And yeah, it was with the Happy Feet theatrical release back in November.

I play the Harry Potter game for the third movie, Prisoner of Azkaban. I was a good game, at best. Though, some parts were entertaining, to say the least. I might look into the game once the release day comes around.

I also noticed that the movie is to be released on the 13th of July... which happens to be a...
spoiler:
friday.

I never liked the Harry Potter movies, the books are better.

The only thing I'm looking forward to is seeing Emma Watson getting sexier with every movie.

The trailer for the order of pheonix keeps reminding me of the fourth book's trailer. But we all know how that movie went.

Yeah, it's fun to compare Daniel Radclife's picture from the first movie to his appearance in this teaser: he goes from looking like an 8-year-old to looking like a 18-year-old. That's the problem with child actors, they grow up....

I saw a different version, though. There was no on stage nudity or real horses, nor any "groping and/or mutilating" horses, but it was still an incredible story. Really defines the whole "psychological thriller" genre.

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

*YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED*

Since you can't put spoiler tags around a picture this is what I resorted to.

Who are these guys? Voldemort's Generals? I only guess this because I never read past the second book and these guys appear after Sirius says something about Voldemort's armies.
