minimalist everything?

I was wondering if any of you remembered Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight. The feel of it is so much different from Jedi Academy and Outcast. In JK, all the text was incredibly small. The font size is about this forum's default font size, though slightly smaller. JA and JO's font sizes are about size 5 based on this forum's standard

So I was thinking...small text ftw? Somehow, that smaller text just made JK more fun for me to play with. I don't know about you guys, but I feel less distracted by smaller text. The scores system has a very small text size. The printed screen messages are of very small text size. Basically, everything's small. Minute, minuscule

So I've provided a sample:

Star Wars has fonts? They all look like Times New Roman or Arial to me

Well I find it a bit... raw.
It's just too simple, to me, just text written above everything.

UDM, are you referring to all the text or just the text on certain menus? Baring menu redesigns (which we are doing), I don't see a reason to change the font.

Just some of the text, like the scores

TheShaman: that's the beauty of it. Very simple, very plain

Call me Shaman, I had to register as TheShaman because Shaman was already taken on that big forum.
