Question about the Jet Soldier

I've purchased Battlefront I recenlty but I cannot make the Jet Soldier fly. How can I activate his flying device or whatever he has on his back?

It's been ages since I've played, but I think it's double jump. Spacebar twice on PC, and whatever button jump is on console twice. Same goes for the Dark Trooper, I think.
