D333, power pc builders and owners are the tech equivalent to revheads(our word for an exuberant motoring enthusiast). ie. price is immaterial, and quite often functionality too

These differ from "roll up your sleeves and pass me that coolant" overclockers, who will want to show off a 1337 clockspeed on an older/standard CPU.

I was offered one, but declined due to my thorough dislike of Intel, especially after recently reading they axed 5000 managerial staff..... taking total lay-offs to nearly 11,000 over the last 3 years(their target being 15,000 by circa 2009)
