< Halo fangirl and proud.

Funny enough, I was reading some old threads from here the other day and I came across this one. I remember laughing so hard.

One of those guess-you-had-to-be-there funny things... (since the original link in that thread is dead).

Your mother.

I will be proudly waiting outside my local gamestop tonight from 7 PM with 2 of my friends for my Limited Edition copy of Halo 3, then taking them to the gamecrazy by their house to get their copys, and then not leaving my house til I/we finish the fight.

I really hope they explain what the hell happened to the others in Ghosts Of Onyx, that ending was cool but very confusing.

LeXX, you got XBL? Us swampies should all get together for some co-op/forge fun

Never played Halo, but I just wish the weekend would come and get all the #@!! annoying Halo-nuts at work to a chance to zone out (tomorrow's payday, incidentally), play the new one to their little hearts' content and finally shut up about it. A few are even going to have an online tournament, and I think the loser has to come to work wearing the helmet. Or it might be the winner, I'm not entirely sure...anyway. At least they've shut up about Warcraft for the time being.

Three Things:

1) I am not a fanboy or anything, but you've NEVER played Halo? Come on! It's definitely an incredible game and worth playing even if you aren't a huge fan of first-person shooters.

2) I feel sorry for your coworkers when they realize the helmet, although it's "life size," is impossible to actually wear.

3) Warcraft = greatest games ever made. Personally I've been playing since Orcs and Humans, and if they're anything like me they'll still be talking about Warcraft long after Halo 3 starts to build up dust

It's good if you like shooting things. Other than that, it's all recycled areas with a minimal amount of plot and tired objectives.

x2. I got the Halo for my compy when it was at the bargain bin and I was amazed at how the game sold so many copies. Even the original crappy-graphics HL > Halo.

and why is the helmet impossible to wear! That defeats the entire purpose.

A week of no skin and plenty of pain is worth a 55" Tv, Xbox 360, PS3, and a Wii. Plus all the games.

1- No, I'm technologically behind the times to the point where I've just recently got a computer which can actually run the Halo series. And FPS games are my mainstay as a gamer.

2- I heard that today. Apparently, it's about the right size for a 7 year-old or something. I'm sure my coworkers will be disappointed.

3- I honestly don't get what the big freakin' deal is with the War/Starcraft series. Not my cup of tea, really. The whole WoW thing has really passed me by, and I'm perfectly comfortable with that. Besides, about 8 or 9 guys in the shop spend more time in WoW than the real world, which is more than ample reason for me to avoid it. Don't get me wrong, the guys in the shop are cool, but they're not that cool that I crave their online company after spending 40+ hours a week with them.
