(k1) Need help with Sith Governor's stats (spoilers)

I'm having difficulty with the Sith Governor on Taris in K1. I wanted to see his stats, so I DL Kotor tools. After about an hour (arrg!), I finally managed to find his file, yet it makes no sense.

The file says he is sixth level, yet he's obviously harder than that. It says he has no force powers, when he obviously does, and it doesn't explain how he can have the high DC and save values that he has. Can someone explain this to me? I'd like to know what his stats REALLY are.

I remember messing around with his .utc file as well and not finding any force powers either. If you look under the tar_m09ab_s.rim file (where you found his .utc file) you'll see that under scripts he has three special scripts of his own. My guess is that it's one or more of these scripts that grant him his force powers.

I've looked at all nearby files and can't make heads or tails of them.

How's 'bout this: if I can't see or easily modify his effective stats, is there an easy way to change his Stasis power (L2 Stun) to Horror (L2 Fear)?

Removing his Stasis power would involve scripting which is beyond my abilities, but you can extract the "tar09_darkjedi001.utc" file and edit it using KotOR Tool and add Horror that way. He'll have both powers, but it's better than nothing.

Once you've added the power save it to the override folder and you're done.
