shirke is my username, just so you know. There are several errors like this, and I haven't noticed a particular pattern in them.
Have you changed the user number for shirke? If you (shirke) are the first user, your user number should be 1000. Have you changed the permission tags of those directories? They should be drwx------ user: shirke group: users. If you remove the 'executable' permission from a directory, it can no longer be opened. hth, MJ
