Help! Can't conquer Wayland

Im playing the Rebel campaign and have tried to conquer Wayland several times. I defeat the inhabitants and destroy all the Imperial forces, turrets and power generator. There is no one left except for my forces and the level wont conclude. I've tried to bomb the hangar, destroyed the barriers around the build sites and there is nothing left. Any Suggestions?

I found a large cannon in the south/west area on the map, and when I destroyed it the game said Victory. Did you find and destroy that?
