Wish that school was just over. I don't want to deal with the absolute torrent of crap I'm going to have to do in the next three weeks. A five page essay, a final project, poem to memorize, read LotR in two weeks, write eight more mini-essays, study for half a dozen large tests, memorize every Amendment of the Constitution, about 120 questions of statistics at 5 to 10 minutes each long, a presentation, a thank-you note, a video to shoot and edit, and any homework, notes, quizes, tests, etc that come up randomly...
Kindle Reading List (163,457 Locations Completed)

Alright...so it didn't rain and I got to mascot: Wish successful.
New wish: I wish that the last day of school in a few weeks isn't total crap. and that I don't cry like the past few years....
"A few times in my life I've had moments of absolute clarity. When for a few brief seconds, the silence drowns out the noise and I can feel rather than think, and things seem so sharp and the world seems so fresh. I can never make these moments last. I cling to them, but like everything, they fade. I've lived my life on these moments. They pull me back to the present and I realize that everything is exactly the way it was meant to be."

I wish I had a microwave that converted everything into delicious freshly-made restaurant food.

I wish I am able to make it through this week successfully, and learn to manage my time effectively (which means that I feel confident in my usage of study time and that I studied well for everything).
I also wish I get an A on this last CS&E quiz I took. For being such an extreme computer geek, I do poorly on these quizzes (Microsoft Office Excel/Access 2007 stuff which you can learn in one second, but is presented in the worst way on these quizzes - the questions must have been written by someone who didn't know English...).
I also wish that I find some gal for myself...or that a previous gal opens up her mind on dating issues (she won't date non-Christians...).

You spoil the finesse of microwave cooking by knowing decent restaurants.

I know plenty of people like that.
I understand how you must feel, but I think I can sympathize this one here. Christianity, for most people, is more than just a religion - its a lifestyle, and they want to be in a relationship with someone who holds a similar lifestyle and philosophy.

I too know several like this. I can understand her, but I am staunchly against such ways of thinking. IMO, if you think like her you are in reality afraid to confront a fear, and unwilling to fight an "obstacle" and try something new, which (again, IMO), makes you a much lesser person.
But in reality, even if she did learn to think correctly (because, regardless of if everyone on the planet is against my on this - that is a bad and incorrect way of thinking), I haven't socialized enough with her since last year, and I had given up earlier (stopped feeling "it"), yet I'd jump up at any possibility of something between us.
