Book Writing!

Hello guys, i am a 13 yr old lad obsessed with Star Wars

, Im a fan of the Legacy of The Force series and the Galactic Alliance. i already have an idea about the book i want to write but i dont how to send it off or anything when im finished and if i need to ask Lucasfilm or another George Lucas Company for copyright, because i dont want to get sued for copy right now do i! So if you guys can help that'd be great

I'm not sure how to contact LucasArts about your idea, but if you aren't accepted (not saying you won't be accepted, this is just a backup option) you can still write the book on the Star Wars fanon. I'm writing a few books myself on the fanon site. You may have to work for LucasArts for them to accept your idea, but anything's possible.

If you want to write your own Star Wars related stories, you can always do it here and post it up for others to view... There's a forum called "Coruscant Entertainment Centre" aka "CEC" which allows people to write fan fiction.

You don't need to get permission from anyone involved with Star Wars, just don't try to sell your work and make money from it.

Thanks guys, good sites. Big thing is i don't care bout money really (ish)

but thing is i would love to see my work in waterstones or WHSmiths so i really want to become a Star Wars Author... So thanks for the input.

Become an author of other kinds of books as you grow up and then maybe some day you'll be able to write our own Star Wars books which are officially licensed by LucasFilms... there's still a long way to go for you.
