Need help with EPAW FOC Patch

my empire at war forces of corruption wont update it says the game isnt installed and to reinstall it again I tried it and still doesn't work. Can someone please help

details please. Are you installing the Forces of corruption game stand-alone but have the original EaW installed? Or are you installing the gold pack?

I downloaded the gold edition

where did you download it from? If you have the Gold edition, you won't need to update the game as it already is the very latest version.

I will need more info about your PC as explained, a dxdiag please

heres mine and Im having the same problem updating my version is at 1.01 and I need 1.1 but the patch keeps saying I dont have the game installed but I do... help
