Black Holes believed to precede galaxies.
Fascinating Stuff.
It's by no means conclusive, but it goes a long way in explaining more about the place we live in.

Nice find. I'm beginning to think we are getting closer to a Big Bang explination. Planets, stars, and a mess of everything else explode outward from a black hole. Can't wait to see how scientists apply this new find.

Hoo-boy. The never ending debates take another tumble. Well, fascinating nonetheless.
Since black holes and whit holes are basically the same I have to wonder about this as well. I suspect either, yes it's the source, or it's just some kind of cosmic engine here and there. I am interested where this will take us in our mass population beliefs about the universe, or existence itself.

Hate me, I win.
Ignore me, I've got exactly what I wanted.
Love me or hate me, you're still thinking of me either way.

Part of the reason that it is believed that black holes are essential to the formation of a Galaxy is that the stars in the Galaxy have to be orbiting something that is extremely massive at the center.

Except for being exact opposites, and that white holes are really just a mathematical theory to balance out black holes, like Neo and Agent Smith.

There is more to it than that, it is believed space-time is curved and the gravitational distortion in the fabric of space-time is so strong it is believed that it punches a hole in it and thus the idea of a white hole, because the matter has to go somewhere. Whether or not that is accurate remains to be seen, but they have found that black holes can evaporate.

So far evaporation of black holes and white holes are two different pairs of socks. Not that you've said something else, but however. Also, it is believed that only smaller black holes could evaporate.
