Guys, I need some help.

Can anyone advise me on how to go about getting banner advertising to help fund a website? Any ideas, links, avenues of inquiry would be greatly appreciated.

Is your website going to have its own url or is it going to be hosted? I will make some enquiries with some relatives who are pretty clued up about this sort of stuff. In the mean time I suggest mailing Aristotle - he's in charge of the show isn't he? or Zero..

Cheers wardz, 'tis much appreciated. Don't worry about anything too definite, just some initial avenues of inquiry would be great. The site will have its own URL. Basically, we need something to earn a bit just to keep us ticking over, so any ideas would be great!

look at some banner companies and email them, ask them if they can sponsor your site or if they know of any that can.

Well, that's what I've been getting at. Does anyone know of any banner companies or have any contact adresses that I might use? I just need a few leads to start me off.

Sorry. I aint been on for a while. Dam companies work you sooo hard. Anyway, one thing i have noticed about sponsers is that you dont get as many big company ones as you used to. Years ago there were loads of BT ones etc, who would pay loads.
