Got it off ebay. Took 8 days to ship, got so annoying going out to check the mail every day and find nothing there. Never played any GTA games except Vice City very briefly so decided I wanted to give them a go.

I got this yesterday morning. Literally in the morning. I had to drive up to the city and stand out in a cold dark parking lot, and help unload a truck, just so I could take it back to the store. Sadly, the store was dead yesterday, so it seemed like a waste. We stuck it in our 360 interactive and had such a ball with it, that I wound up buying myself a copy, as I been a fan of the series for quite some time. This is as close to anime as I will ever get.
The online play is a little bit wonky, otherwise I would give it a perfect score.

Excellent... huh... I've played them and they're not what I'd consider "excellent".

Well, I bought em and played the crap out of them in the late 90's and I thought they were great. Perhaps nostalgia is coloring my present opinion of them, but still, sir, I say to you... poopoo

No, yeah, that's definitely it. Must have been pretty good games back then. But I got GTA (1 I think) when it first came out free back in 2005 or something... I got bored after 15 minutes, it's nothing like GTA3 cause it's hard to grasp to anything.

Odd, I loved Vice City and though San Andreas was ok. Surely more to do in SA, but I though VC had a tighter story and pacing. The addition of bikes over GTA3, an awesome metal radio station and perfect art/decor. Damn SA was epic though, had one of my favorite characters too, Woozie.

Oh, and if I had to list my GTA games by order, it would be GTA4, Vice City, San Andreas, Vice City Stories, GTA3.

Haha. Whatever. I try to see what I can, from whoever comes to Edmonton. I still like all those bands. I'm especially pumped for Lamb of God and Bodom.
Though, I can agree with you to some extent. Unfortunately, here, we don't get to see the likes of some festivals such as the Wakken Open Air Festival. I'd totally pay big bucks to go to one of those if I could afford it.

Dath's communication needs? Don't you only need a couple good rocks to throw at people to get the same usual message across?
Edit:
Gave Dath's phone the gay through a text message. He wasn't having it.

What kind of a raging anger machine wakes up to text messages?
In other news, Dath and I think I killed Rhett this morning.
Quote:
Apollo986 [Dath] - If anyone cares, im going to kill tie for waking me with a text
LF_TiE23 - If anyone cares I shot and killed a homeless looking man who broke into my house at 6:20am. Might have been Dath... not sure,
LF_TiE23 - ... not sure, wasn't much face left to identify by. Smelled like poop and Gatorade. Tossed him into my neighbor's yard waste bin.
Apollo986 - wasnt me, i was too busy doing your mom
LF_TiE23 - You must have hired him. He seemed determined to kill me with a spoon he stole from our kitchen... He wasn't very good at it
Apollo986 - spoon from the kitchen? oh ****...wheres rhett
LF_TiE23 - Whoops, forgot to mention he didn't have any pants on... : |
Apollo986 - yep that was rhett

Audiosurf is so awesome.
Cause there are times when I just want to listen to music, but I feel unproductive if I'm just sitting around. It works wonders.

Yeah, I love Audiosurf.
I loved the demo, and couldn't wait to get my hands on this game, but the more I get into, the more disapointed I am with it. Far too much luck involved, which has spoilt it.

I have the hardest song pretty much possible to play on Audiosurf. Ninja Mono on Ironmode and you'll be sweatin'.
Try it out, Million Way of the Drum from Samurai Champloo "Impression"

Yeah, I went back to the song. My old score in pro was around 55,000. He got something like 88,000. I tried twice and got around 125,000. Boo-yah! Stealth, 11-combo, Iron Mode, Clean Ending.
Played Halo 3 with Wombat, CheapyD, and a little with Shipwreck tonight, fun.
Also, 25,000 baby!

Tickets for 5 showings of our school's musical, which I'm in, went on sale to the general public this past Monday. I found out today that by Friday, all shows were sold out. We perform to 5 packed houses in about 3 weeks. =D

I feel like a 13 yearold again playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. This game is so awesome. Will run on any PC no matter how ****ty or underpowered.
My park just can't expand anymore. Cutting down trees is just too expensive, it'd probably take me half an hour and $200,000 to cut down all the woods around my park. So I ended up layering rides on top of each other. If I could see this park in 3D it'd be so messed up looking. Layers upon layers of catwalks and rails. Just crazy.

Composite picture, remember, I play this game at only 800x600, so it's not that big.
Notice the super long lines in two areas. I have a 3D Cinema (three in the park, actually) that has a line that can hold over 200 people. But it's takes an entire hour of real time to get all the way through the line. So I'll constantly see people leaving pissed. But on the exiting trail I put a bunch of food places and stuff. 90% of all people tend to buy something, a total money suck.

You are an evil, evil man.
Also: That does bring back good memories! I haven't played that game in sooo long . . .
Anyone know if the third version is any good? I saw it for pretty cheap the other day.

Anyone know if the third version is any good? I saw it for pretty cheap the other day.

Oh, RCT3 is pretty good, too. It's almost worth the price just to see your custom billboards with lulz pictures. If you can get it for under $15 (or you know, $20 for some kind of multi-pack) I'd totally recommend it. I'm just playing RCT2 cause I found it randomly in my stack of old PC games and it's one of the few games I can play on my Asus EeePC.
One thing that sucks is getting around the whole no-disc drive on my netbook thing. Mounting an image of my copy doesn't seem to work, and the *coff* no-cd ***CENSOREDLULZ*** that I have isn't the right type. Can't find one for my particular "Roller Coaster Tycoon 2: Triple Thrill Pack" variety. So it only runs one expansion pack and has a bunch of missing assets in weird places. But still cool.

So stoked for Crank 2 next month.
Loved this movie. Now I just need to get Snatch and RocknRolla.
