What is the best Jedi Armor and saber upgrades?

For K2, what is the best Jedi Armor, and what is the best lightsaber upgrade parts? I don't mean the crystals since I know those depend on the combination. I mean the upgrade parts as in the emitters and such.

The best Jedi armour in my opinion is the Jedi master robe, i just upgrade it mine with the best upgrades it can take.

The best lightsaber parts are tetragon energy cells i believe they are called. Dragite lens are something i use as they are quite useful. thats all i can think of for now

Would it help if I pasted all of the saber upgrades from the console cheats list?

I've always liked the Bio-Regenerative underlays for robes (the fifth level is pretty good) - it might not be the 'best', but it can save on medpacs.

The expert fencing emitters and Ossus Dueling lens can also be pretty nasty if you use them together... I change the energy cell regularly depending on the situation.

tetragon energy cell? Never got that one...

Always used Ultimate Diatum, Fencing, Dragite was my choice of weaponry. And that on two sabers. And I used the Dark Jedi Master robes with Bio- as well. As a Guardian, it's nice too know you're being healed, since you don't always have the force points to pwn at healing as much as consulars.

to be honest...I used the KSE to get my upgrades. I always found that Guardians seem to better at healing then consulars.

Anyway. I always try and put in a bio, i don't care what level it is, it helps heal you and thats it. So if your planning to upgrade you robes, do it with the latest version of the Bio-Regenerative

It was requested earlier that I give the armors, saber upgrades, and armor upgrades from the giveitem codes list, but that would be too long of a post. So here's the list: http://vgstrategies.about.com/od/pcc...tor2codes2.htm

Jedi Master Robes assuming you don't get something like Nomi Sunrider's Robes.

Bio Regenerative Underlay V
That Stealth Overlay II -- will work on robes

Lightsaber:
Ultimate Diatium energy cell
Expert Fencing Emitter
Ponite Lense

Crystals:
Anakarres Saphire
Solari or Jedi Exile's crystal

That should give you the biggest amount of damage.

I too happen to love the bio-regenerative underlays. I don't know why, but I nearly always equip them.

I normally use the Zel Shey body armor thing--or, as soon as I actually get it, the Jedi Master or Grey Jedi robe mainly because you can put underlays on them. Matching things together wisely can really give yourself a good character.

Awsome stuff guys. I'm copying it all down and going to get them through the console to check them out. There are tons of armors, robes, and such in here. Malak and Jolee, and Ossus gear. Neat.

Meaning that when two crystals that give a bonus to the same attribute are used in the same lightsaber, you'll only get the larger bonus. They won't stack.

And I always wear the Ossus Keeper robe. I wouldn't touch those metal dresses or any of the armors that make my NPCs look like rejects from clown college with a ten-foot pole.

Only 1 bonus counts.
So you should take bonuses that are...different. For example Barab Ore ingot does fire damage. There is almost no other upgrade that does, so it's safe to use.

I usually go for a silver lightsaber with Exile and Solari. "Cause (like El Sitherino once said) that's how I roll!"

And let's say I have a stronger saber in one hand and a less in the other. Which hand should carry the stronger saber or does that matter? Also, are short sabers better than normal ones or are they just around in the game in case you can't get a normal size on? It's best if you are two handed wielding to use two sabers and not just a double saber right?

It's like this:

Off-hand saber gives a +2 boost on your main hand.
But if you equip two normal lightsabers, with all the duel wielding feats, it doesn't really matter. Because all the upgrades will rock the boat and there's no real penalty that +2 will be useful for.

Just make sure both saber upgrade stats are different. One saber to give you a bunch of strength, the other one (fighting one) to deal as much damage as it can, for example.

Really, my first K2 game had me wielding two silver sabers. It rocked so hard that I played fighting with 1 saber the next games, or it would be to easy

NOTE: armor combination is with a mod

Armor(Shem's Sith Lord Armour Mod Used):

Sith Lord Armour(a_robe_26)

Upgrades: Ballistic Mesh Shielding mark III, Armorweave Underlay mark V - this gives you a almost perfect melee shield plus damage resistance against lightsabers.

If you are not a baddie: use the KOTOR Tool to remove the restrictions to dark side, sith marauder, sith assassin, sith lord so you can wear it on light side and neutral.

As for saber upgrades(I use two lightsabers):

1st saber(attack)
Crystals: (dark side)Quixoni and <FullName>'s Crystal, (light side)Solari and <FullName>'s Crystal

2nd saber(defense)
Crystals: Lorridian Gemstone, Jerrunax Crystal

Upgrades(for both sabers):

Ultimate Diatium Energy Cell(1 in each saber), Enhanced Byrothysis Lense(attack saber), Ossus Dueling Lense(defense saber), Expert Fencing Emmiter(attack saber), Expert Deflection Emmiter(defense saber).

I usually opt to use the Adagean lens because it has almost the same damage value as the the ponite, but 1/3 the parts needed. I also use the expert deflection emiter early as well. The tetragon power cells are the only ones I use due to their damage value ranging from 3-8 electrical.

The later in the game I am, I switch to expert fencing emiter and pontite lens. That's when I have an abundance of parts.

The crystals I use are
Main saber: Upari (8 damage, 3 attack) and the Exile's crystal (enhancements vary)
Short saber: Upari and kalibur (3 wisdom, 3 heal)

I use the Dark Jedi knight robe with bioregenerative underlays.

Check out Gamebanshee. It has a very nice list of lightsaber combinations. (Use KSE to get the upgrade parts. It's a lot easier that way.)

As far as armor goes, when I'm a guy, I use Jedi robes, usually ones from mods 'cuz they're stronger. When I'm a girl, I use the robes that look like Zam Wessel's in greenish-grey. I don't remember what they're called--Zal Shey? Something like that?

The Ultima Pearl is a pretty good crystal to upgrade your saber with if you can't get (or just aren't lucky enough) the rarer more elusive ones.

The PC crystal.

And the robes would be the ones which you get through glitches/what-not, I can't stand those "medieval dresses" as I like to call 'em

I really favor crystals that increase wisdom (Kasha, Kalibur, PC crystal). And an attack crystal (Uphari, Sigil, Ultima pearl)

I'm not one for the 'special properties' such as enhanced attributes. If attribute crystals could stack, such as kalibur and PC crystal adding up to +10 wisdom, that would be what I'd always use. The keen, droid-damage, stun, regenerate, and massive critical hit damage are really not as significant compared to the last game. The upgrade parts make all the difference.

I just wish there were a source from which you could obtain all items for a price. I hate games where I want an item, but it never shows up. If I could, I'd always get a dark jedi knight robe instead of those neofite(whatever) things. They're acceptable for everything but that skirt-like thing. What's with that?

It's Zam Wessel style!

If you can't find an item you want, use the KSE to get it. For the saber parts, you can just give yourself about 8000000 components and make 'em.

i have by 'critical hit saber' with ultima pearl and opila with critical hit enhancing upgrade parts. its got a huge critical threat. (2-24 i think)

Yes, but the overall effects are not as significant I think. If you have a crystal that improves your agility by 2 points, you only benefit in attack/defense/skills by one point. Compare that to an additional 1 attack and 6 damage from a Sigil crystal. I think the damage potential is much more valuable than the attributes.

Kalibur and the PC crystals are the only exceptions, but there's only one PC crystal and the other is just rare. I favor greater damage potential over attack add-ons more as the game progresses because attack bonuses become less significant. As your maximum force points increase, even wisdom becomes less significant.

For Bao-Dur, the Mining Uniform, since it can accept a Level 2 Armorply Overlay(The ONLY overlay it accepts) along with the highest level Biorestoreitve Underlay

For the other characters, I tend to use the Jal Shey/Zeison Sha armors since they can accept overlays and I can put overlay on them that can mitigate some of the damage from blasters and lightsabers.

For the lightsabers, I use Pontite Lens, either Tergon Jolt Cell or Diatanium Cell, and the Expert Fencing emitter.

Hmmm...I might try out your Bao-Dur trick next playthrough! I usually equip him with heavy armor to compensate for his lack of defence. Mining Uniform next time

Yeah well. I found out about the Level 2 Armorply Overlay(+1 to Reflex, +2 to Stealth) useful for the mining uniform trick by accident. It will not accept a Level 1 Armorply Overlay or any other Overlay.

Environment Underlays and Biorestorative Underlays are the only underlays the Mining Unifrom can accept. As soon as I lay my hands on an Immortality Belt and Anakarian Blinders(prevents stun and horror), Bao-Dur gets them. He's more a close combat specialist than anything and that is where the Immortality Belt shines. Instead of preventing him from getting hit, I do my best to reduce the damage he takes from hits and heal.

The Jal Shey/Zieon Sha Armors can accept some Overlays which make them better than the standard robes. The only reason to use the standard robes can be taken care of with a Force Focusing visor. With the exception of the Jolee Robes(Kreia), I tend not to use Robes. Vissas gets a robe, since she does not have any armor proficiencies to start off with.

All things considered, the choice of armour is not that significant; so long as it can accept a biorestorative underlay. I hate the Jal Shey / Zieon Sha things because they are just ridiculous to look at. If there were a way to use Force powers with any other amour, then my personal preference would be the Sith Battle suit with 7 defense and 7 dexterity.

Lightsaber preferences vary throughout the game. In the end, I prefer the saberstaff with the PC crystal and Uphari with the works for upgrade parts.

There's a mod that removes Force restrictions from armor for TSL. I don't have the link for it since it was a mod from Filefront and I was in a mad download state at the time I came across it.

You dislike the appearance of the Jal Shay/Zeison Sha armors, I dislike the appearance of the Jedi Robes in TSL. With that mod however, I start using the various armors that looks like the Bondar Alloy Suit(what Carth was wearing during the Battle of Telos) or in a dfferent color, since I find those armors the most asthetically pleasing to me. I was just going with the plain vanillia TSL for this question.

Armor/Robe: Dark Jedi/ Jedi Master robes with the bio rest. V underlay
Unless i'm using 90SK's Robe mod.

Saber: Dbl Sbr with Ultimate Diatium Cell, Expert Fencing Emitter, Pontite lens
Sigil and Upari crystals, sometimes Qixoni and Upari when i'm darkside.
I too, hate the Zeison Sha/ Jal Shey armors. might not be bad if they didn't have that flappy crappy thing on the back.

Ossus keeper robe+bio underlay
male protagonists got battle precognition, WIS modifies defense when not wearing armor.
and bio seems to be the only good upgrade that's available 4 robes.

Pontite lens+fencing emitter+diatium cells
