What's your MMO game psychology?

Here's mine:

What a surprise that socializing is tied with exploring.

From MST3K's spoof of "Hercules Unchained"--heard as Roman medic soldiers carry off an unconscious Greek Hercules on a 1950's Army green canvas stretcher: "Hi, we're IX-I-I. Did somebody dial IX-I-I?"

Jae, April Fool's was over a month ago. Seriously. Give it up, it'll be back next year.

Explorer - 87%
Socializer - 60%
Achiever - 33%
Killer - 20%

Either way, I would have just clicked the MMOs Suck option, if it was available.

I personally think my achiever should be a bit higher than that, probably right around my socialiser score.

Your gamerDNA is:
KILLER

Killer: 67%
Achiever: 67%
Explorer: 47%
Socializer: 20%

It's not that I don't like socializing, but its much easier to level solo, and then you can do all the fun endgame stuff as a big group. I do hope TOR has a good story, but in WoW I couldn't care less about roleplaying. I'm all about getting geared out and doing the highest end content. Also, I like PVE more than PVP, so dunno how accurate that test is.

Heh. You completely explore maps before they're loaded onto the server, apparently

I'm an 'Achiever', apparently. The Social bit is quite low, so it could be accurate enough...

Tommycat, you're an exploring overachiever.

Hehe apparently I explore EVERY INCH of every map. and about 7% of the maps that haven't been released yet...

Hmmm you'd think my Achiever level would be higher as an overachieving explorer.

Kinda made sense for me, as in SWG I played a smuggler. I knew where just about everything was. Even before it made it to Live(ie. it was still on Test Center). I knew where all the pre-NGE stuff was. I was better than a newbie guide haha.

Too bad they don't have something like craftsman on that list. I'd probably score pertty high there too... I spend more time doing non-combat stuff than combat.

Noticed I hadn't done this before:

Can agree with the explorer bit, but I don't think I'm that social in MMO's. I'd like to do things on my own, if possible, though I do like a good chat in Guild Halls and such.

Hi there everyone. This is my first post on these forums.

In real life and in MMOs, I normally keep to myself and hang out with a handful of friends. I never PK or anything like that. I just love exploring and questing. I don't socialize much so I don't know why it wasn't lower.

Hullo. Well, the way things were set up in the "B or W only" style questioning, I'd have thought I'd have scored higher on the murderer status.

It's the thrill of the kill. Trophies are okay, but that momentary rush attained from besting an opponent is what it's all about.

People with high Killer scores prefer the player-versus-player aspect of any game more than anything offered by the environment. They relish the adrenaline and challenge of pitting themselves against real people. Not all Killers are gankers as some critics claim. While getting the jump on the unprepared for a quick kill is important fun for some Killers, many prefer group PvP and revel in a well executed team maneuver that blows away the opposing side.
