Movies won't function.

My laptop has, as far as I can tell, a very unusual resolution of 1366 pixels in width by 768 pixels in height. At first, I was irritated at the game's lack of native support for wider screens. I fixed that by reinstalling the game (since I had patched it to 1.0b before), and the UniWS program seems to have worked. I can tell that it worked by viewing the game's main menu (Darth Sion now looks normal, and the menus are fine), but I haven't played it yet. If I find that my conversation options are missing, I'll be sure to come here and whine. :P

Right now, however, I have another problem. I had heard that to test if your PC runs the movies in the game, you should try watching the trailer and credits in the 'Movies' menu, which I tried to do. It didn't work. The screen went black, and warped back into the 'Movies' menu. On my previous laptop, I wasn't able to watch any movies either (apart from the one where the turret on the Ebon Hawk emerges, the small one). I don't want to play the game without seeing the movies, and I was wondering how I could fix that. Could it have something to do with using UniWS? I doubt it, but could it be? Any solutions?
