Finished the mod a few days ago. No huge bugs or any that have not already been mentioned.

1. Absolutely fantastic story. Totally believable and meshed well with the rest of the game. Akarakon Sin was probably my favourite original character. (A noble Sith King? Dude... like sign me up!) Also, Mec H'anic produce endless laughs. All characters are well flushed out, and their backstories believable. Certain plot element seemed like a stretch, though. (Koboyashi a Padawan? Ummmm...)
2. Great sidequests, especially Backwater Entertainment. "A danceoff? Wait, I meant to say, 'A what?'"
3. Great new equipment. One of my favourite pieces was the Republic Robe, and the Sith Adviser Robes were brilliant. However, I found that some armors were a bit overpowered (helps for harder enemies in the mod, though). I found Mandalore's weapons... questionable (battlefans???), but the style of the handles and the overall look fit his character.
4. Non-Canon Locker:
I could go on, but no one really needs/wants to read this.
All I can say is... wow. It's clear that an enormous amount of effort and polish went into this project, and it really shows. I can't give Silver or his team enough praise. This has been the best mod I've ever played, for any game. Just... wow.
Alright, I think this is a bug. I've already spoken to Kobayashi at the cantina, and then I went into the Czerka civilian quarters. Now, I can't enter the Mining facility. Any help would be nice.

Could you be more specific? So you entered the Czerka Mining Facility, and then you reentered the Civilian Quarters. What exactly is stopping you from reentering the Mining Facility?

It was something that was subtly hinted at a number of times even from Kobayashi's and Shadow's first meeting on the Orion. And given that after his master was killed (Or for the more observant of you, assassinated) and he ended up with Daemon Drexl as his mentor/father figure, it should be no surprise that he is the way he is.

Sorry for not being specific enough. What I meant was I entered the civilian quarters from Dreshdae. I explored a bit, then when back out to Dreshdae, then when I went back in, I couldn't get into the mining facility. The entrance itself is there, and it's appearing on the minimap correctly, but it won't let me enter for some reason.

I've found a quite curious bug i had installed Bos:Sr plus put all of Redhawkes mods in my override and in KSE there are four items labelled Mandalorian battle armor, one is the normal blue, 2 are the normal battle armour just red and yellow but the last is a robe! without the Redhawke mods its just metalic silver but curiously with them its Invisible! all that can be seen is the characters head and a weapon if your carrying one!
Plus Drix is now a fully robed and masked Darth Revan like my avatar
Quote:
The items you found (Including the invisible robe thing) in KSE aren't bugged, and are like that for a reason.
Also I'm guessing your having problems with character's appearances because you've installed another mod that doesn't use TSLPatcher after installing BoS:SR. And so it's 2DA's have been overridden.
yep you were right the silver robe is back and Drix isnt Darth Revan anymore plus i must say BRILLIANT ROBE! ive actually decided to nickname it the Silveredge9 Robe (as its silver obviously)

and ive found something you might want to fix. While playing as Akirakon Sin in the module with the Rakatan Temple the link/transferpoint whatever its called to the South Beach on the unknown World is active, though it might be fun to beat Malak as Akirakon

When i side with Nat Koh after Roosh attacks him for the contract and kill Roosh, the completed quest in the journal states that i sided with Roosh and that Nat was killed.

Indeed, I loved the whole idea of the Sith, both species and ideology, beginning as something close to the Echani: evolution through conflict. Indeed, the idea that the Sith actually weaken themselves through backstabbing and betrayal is very accurate. What I think this teaches is that seeking power is not evil (as the Jedi seek power in the Force as well), it's the means that one ultimately acquires that power. Imagine what would have happened if Akirakon Sin hadn't been betrayed and went on to expand the Sith Empire: you'd have the polar opposite of the Infinite Empire and the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders, a benevolent monarchy that helps people evolve through conflict. It would have been endlessly superior to the Galactic Republic, even if it might be a bit strict.
When you start to look at the Sith without their constant need to betray each other at every opportunity or kill off their weaker member, they can no longer be considered evil any more since it's betrayal and lack of mercy that makes them evil, not the fact that they utilize their emotions and it's certainly not that they wear black or carry red lightsabers. One should not be judged by one's race, creed, or appearance, but by one's actions.
Overall, Silveredge9, you handled the philosophical element of this mod PERFECTLY. It's very crucial that you did so since every decent work of fiction needs to have a decent philosophical element behind it or even the least philosophically-inclined will begin to take issue with it.
In order to balance out praise with criticism: Why are you assigning Dark Side points for activating the ancient Rakata defenses in the last mission of the Professional? I'm not sure why it is wrong to let an ancient security force do its job, or for that matter letting the relics of an ancient Dark Side empire fight members of a modern Dark Side empire. Nor is it particularly dishonest or sneaky either. But that's all IMO.
Again, this mod is 20/10.
As of 3/14/10, TSL is restored. The Sith Lords Restored Content Modification by Stoney and Zbyl has been finished and can be downloaded here.

I'll look into it.

You don't get dark side points for activating the defenses. Though you do get some dark side points if you allow the Sith to execute the remaining workers, so I'm guessing it was just a case of the last one being killed just after you activated the defenses or something.
On another note, I'm disappointed nobody has discovered the easter egg I made reference too a few pages back. It's hinted at in one of the release screenshots, so the best thing to do would be to go through them all and determine which one isn't exactly fitting to be used as advertisement. :P

I think I know which screenshot your talking about but how da heck is that thing supposed to get there? Can't really test since my kotor crasher all the time. It something not related to BoS just probably my computer vs kotor :/

Didn't you open the door with your seciurity skill? If so, it broke the game and you'll have to load. Don't open the door, just click it

Crap, I did just that, and since my computer is low on space, I only keep one save slot. I feel like kicking myself . But thanks for telling me the problem.

I just wanted to say thanks for this mod. It's brilliant, and fits in very well with the story of the rest of the game. Also, I absolutely love all the Fallout 2 references sprinkled throughout (Arroyo system, the destruction of a planet called Navarro, Klamath, Mariposa, etc.).
Also, the non-canon locker seems to be unopenable for me. I'm in the room where it is, but it just stays locked, even when I use T3's absurdly high security skill on it.

when I'm fighting the Czerka administrator after the whole 'dark-robed man' thing, the droids who are meant to walk in stand outside the door, the door locks and I can't get to them in order to finish that little sequence.
You mean the Buddy Jesus reference with Solomon? I thought that should have been the poster for the game.
No, it's something within the game itself.

You will have to elaborate. I'm not quite sure what you mean.

Yes, there are quite a lot of Fallout references dotted around here and there. I'm glad somebody noticed them. :P
And to open the non-canon footlocker you need the non-canon key.

Maybe a bug? Im not quite sure if this is a bug, but the rodian(favor for a rodian guy) is not there in the cantina on the korriban. Or does he appear later? In the original bos he was there the first time i entered korriban if i recall correctly...
Saivoīs New demo, A Cruel Northern Land is out! Listen to it on our mikseri.net bandpage.

Have you finished the Leviathan part? You'll find Drix at Korriban once you have completed that. It's in the readme, though.
actually i found that after i fight revan and go back to the orion i lose everything not when i fight the masters
And when i do get back all my party members are gone
tatooinee is repeating itself
And after matildas vision im stuck as matilida in a messed up ebon hawk
I dont understand the mod worked last time

Hey all. Sorry in advance for a (probably) noobish question. My game crashes after around 3 minutes of playing after I installed Kotor and the mod.
Here's what I did:
- Clean Kotor install
- patch 1.03
- the mod, standard install
I'm running it on Windows XP SP3, so I don't think that's the problem. And the other specs are obviously way higher than required. Any help? I've ran Kotor on a multitude of different PCs, and this is the first time I encounter something like this. Is it a conflict in the game files?
why do the jedi masters not have the darkside apperence they had in the orignal BOS?
Because whilst it worked within the original BoS, it doe not within the context established in the rewrite included with BoS:SR

Have you used any cheats, such as warping from module to module? Have you tried reinstalling the mod? Have you tried reloading from an earlier save or replaying the "bugged" section?

It's apparently a random glitch that can happen sometimes. I myself haven't managed to replicate it, but have included something that should correct the bug should it happen. It will be included in the next patch.

Have you installed into a clean override folder? There really is no reason for the mod to cause any errors of that severity, at least on its own.
hey silver, the mod is excellent.
i can't see playing through the game without it now.
i had a question though.

on the czerka administration assassin mission, when you are trying to eliminate the mandalorian, i attatched the bomb to the protocol droid and sent him to the mandalorians room, but nothing happens. i've tried all kinds of things to get the bomb to go off but it doesn't. is this a glitch/bug?

Did you try listening to the instructions the Twi'lek Czerka Employee relayed as he gave you the bomb? Did you try reading the journal which also outlined how to use the bomb?
i didn't realize i had to equip the detonator, and at first i didn't see it in my inventory. sorry for the confusion.
but another problem i've had while playing this . . . none of the quest logs for bossr specific quests will display.
i guess i've run into a bug of some sort.
i currently am having some trouble completely deleting the ord mandell mod from my kotor game for some reason as well, so that might have something to do with it, but i am at a complete loss as to what to do to remedy that problem either.
i tried un-installing the game completely and re-installing it with only bossr but the ord mandell mod still winds up still on there somehow.
but anyways, any other clues as to how to accomplish the task i asked about?

As I said I didn't do anything else with the game besides installing BoS:SR, so I suppose that folder should've been clean. If it's not the mod, then what could be the problem? Last time I played this game on Vista (another PC) without service pack, and it worked...
I'd really like to play the mod though without the constant crashing. There aren't many mods of this level in the world.
Now i feel really stupid... what was i supposed to do when the "admiral karath" dialog fires after fighting malak for the first time? When i installed the mod i saw instructions for this bug but now after maybe 40 minutes of frantic readme and thread reading i cant find it....

so here i am about to walk onto the bridge of the mandalorian vessel at malachor v, after mandalore gives his pep talk. revan, malak, and shadow are all walking up the corridor toward the bridge door. the screen goes black and . . . um . . . waiting . . . waiting . . . nope still black. i can move my characters around and access menu options, but i can't open the door or see anything.
pretty annoying if after all of the dialogue that i've had to read through up to this point, to think i may have to re-install and do it all again just to see what happens next.
ugh!
love the mod, i guess my only complaints other than these glitches, is that going through the endar spire multiple times gets a bit redundant, and the dialogue can be quite a bit exhaustive at times.
