Love the concept... make his weapon a key character in the game. Interesting to see what they'll do with it.
Also, I've noticed that Young Link is taking on the handhelds while Adult Link seems to be focusing on the home consoles. I think Nintendo have realised what people really want with Zelda lol... but still, I'd like to see a young Link return for the console Zelda's too.

Yeah, it's definitely a cool idea, I just can't wait to see how they implement it. Either Link battles with a generic sword (Kokiri, Ordon, etc.) or the fairy girl transforms into the Master Sword whenever Link needs it, though that does sound a bit... odd.
I do think he'll still use the Master Sword. But the idea that the weapon he uses is a person/character now will change the pereption of it just being a tool to destroy evil.
They're combining the style of Twilight Princess with The Wind Waker by the looks of it. The character design for Link and the style itself is from TP... dunno if it'll be a new Link or the one from TP will return... the fairy on the other hand is a very close match to the fiary queen in The Wind Waker

That's where I remember her from (different people I know) but yeah that's what I was thinking after reading the article.
I am loving the concept so far, the character designs on the poster look cool too.
