I believe the term Chaotic neutral was invented for such types. While their actions seem anything but neutral (sort of like the rolling waves of alternating current or AC electricity), their net alignment would be as though any good or bad would be canceled out as though they had decided to remain neutral the whole time.

However I am willing to hear you out. If anything with 'neutral' in the name is, shall we say, an inaccuracy, what do you propose to call such phenomenon (besides apathy )...just plain old chaotic?

No, D20 is the ruleset, based on D&D 3E. The engine is called Odyssey, which is a highly modified version of Aurora, the engine used in NWN.

Of course i would like to see Kreia/Darth Traya and Revan back. Maybe something that the main character will be the son/daughter of Bastilla and Revan or something like that, and that the son/daugter is trying to find Revan and battle against the Sith'ari and that Kreia is again helping him/her.

I think that seeing new models for the weapons would be awesome. I mean, the swords are pretty alright, because a sword's a sword. But the ability to change your lightsaber's looks, and some new blasters, like something that could be a prelude to the DLT-19, instead of old, re-used models. Being able to use some of the old heads from other games, because I loved the medium haired, blond male head from TSL. Lot's of new animations, and for it to take place not too long after the second game, so as to keep up a continuous story.

I seem to be very different in some points compared to you.

Would be cool if you play as Revan again, and get your good old whole K1 party back.
I also like revisiting old planets (especially Manaan and Dantooine(<-- only if it's again like in K1) ).

I hope the "hero" is again some super-awesome jedi/sith. maybe the offspring of Raven & the exile (which ever is male/female is decided at the start, and if same sex is chosen for both, maybe it's Raven & Bastila, or Carth i guess).

I hope they dive more into the HK issue, the factory that didn't make it to the KOTOR 2 game.

also more development on T3-M4, somethings fishy about it, i think there are hidden memories of Raven/The Exile, good way to tie the 3 games together.

Shorter path to lightsaber (I'm a Jedi (or a Sith, anyway), give me my lightsaber now, not on the third planet...). I want to find out what actually happened to Revan, I was greatly disappointed by K2 in that respect. I don't really care that much about the Exile. It'd be nice to know where that story went, but Revan is much higher up on the to-do list. The ending of K2 was weaksauce. Definitely need real, and different, endings. I liked the endings of K1 much better.

I'd like to see a REAL dark side story. Not just random, unnecessary unjustified cruelty. I'd like to start as a youngling or whatever the Sith equivalent is and have the option to "fall" or be "redeemed" during the story progression at any time via Dantooine/Korriban.

Honestly, I wasn't all that fond of the major plot twist in K1. The robes/mask only go so far so explain no one recognizing you, SOMEONE had to know what you looked/sounded like lol

I liked the buildup to a lightsaber, where Sith and Jedi-wannabes had to make do with a sword for the time being, because it gave a certain sense of vulnerability to the main character, particularly in TSL, and doubly so when Visas shows up on the Ebon Hawk to kick your ass up and down the say-sen with a lightsaber and you have just a wimpy sword.

Why is everybody saying Obsiden did a bad job with KOTOR 2. They were actually pushed by LucanArts to finish the game before Christmas 2004! I say give them another shot at KOTOR 3. Besides, Obsiden and Bioware would both have their fair share in KOTOR. Bioware with KOTOR 1 and TOR and Obsiden with KOTOR 2 and KOTOR 3. Here's what I would like to see in KOTOR 3.

Opening Crawl


It has been Five years since the defeat of DARTH NIHLUS and the last sith cult has been wiped from the face of the galaxy. Under the leadership of BASTILA SHAN, the Jedi Order has slowly grown back to its fromer glory.

Supreme chancellor MARR has assigned Republic restoration fleets to be stationed in the outer and mid rims to patrol for any possible threats to the Galactic Republic. One of these fleets, under the command of Admiral CARTH ONASI has the post of Patroling over the outer rim world of Bespin and stop Mandalorian raids.

His secret duty however is guarding a young Jedi on the decks of his ship The NEW HOPE. This Jedi is the last serviving Jedi of the Mandalorian Wars and follower of the redeemed Dark Lord REVAN.

This Jedi may prove to be of some use to the Republic, so without any haste, The vessel rushes to the core worlds, only to be ambushed by a bold band of Mandalorian pirates.......

Anyone feeling like a KOTOR/II reboot wouldn't hurt? I love the games to death, but the gameplay isn't aging well and I often find the non-talky parts of both games slightly... unengaging (is that a word?).
Better yet, Star Wars games (and KOTOR in particular) are well-suited to episodic content, though KOTOR's engine is not.

My imagination of Revan's planet is kind of a Dantooine like planet or even (get this) Earth in the far future! Kinda weird, but it says he was born in the outer regions. Just a dark planet as mysterious as Revan. I also have another good idea for a kotor 3. Made by Tolkien Arts and Lucas Arts

Now that the KOTOR comic series has ended and the ending leaves the fates of the heroes up in the air, I think Zayne and Jarael would make for good protagonists. If Zayne isn't the main character (it would make better sense to continue the story from the Exile's perspective) then he could definitely be one of the more important party members.

9) Better/different types of projectile weapons (shoulder-mounted projectile launchers, grenade launchers, 'slugthrowers' [projectiles], chainguns)
10) New species/option to be a different species (introduce trandoshans, sith(species), zabrak, zeltron, ishi tib, etc)
11) Romance options that don't involve a single, unnegotiable lover (can choose a party member to romance)
12) 'younger players' option (option to have less revealing female underwear/slave outfits, etc...I don't want my younger brother looking at THAT kind of thing) I know it might not be used often, but it should be there.
13) Species-specific feats (zeltrons/falleen get pheremones w/ better persuasion, trandoshans get better awareness because of sense of smell, sith are slightly force-sensitive, sullustians get better awareness because of larger hearing)
14) Species/class specific downfalls (sullastians are more sensitive to bright light, etc)
15) More lightsaber/characterization options (hilts, eye/hair/skin color)
16) More types of lightsaber (lightwhip, guard-shoto [maris brood], protosaber [ancient lightsaber hooked to backpack power supply], curved-hilt, saber-staff, saber-pike, lightclub, dual-phase, etc)
17) 3-sided morality scale (light, dark, grey) that way, you can be grey and commit a dark-side act WITHOUT AUTOMATICALLY GOING TO THE DARK SIDE
18) Plot line involving corrupt jedi master. Maybe one of the bosses should be a corrupt Jedi Master, whose influence in the Order causes many jedi to fight even a light-side main character; makes the main character feel more lonely (no light-side friends, no dark-side friends)
19) Main boss changes based on alignment (sith wants to kill JEDI, not take over from other sith, jedi wants to kill sith, neutral wants to take down either, light-no-force wants to take down corrupt interstellar crime syndicate leader (like Jabba), dark-no-force wants to kill off Chancellor (?), neutral-no-force gets to choose based on what he sees in either person, that kind of thing)
20) PARTY MEMBERS LEAVE IF THEY DON'T LIKE YOU
21) Party members who leave will be replaced by those who are attracted to the morals you show.
22) Guarantee that YOU WILL NOT HAVE THE SAME PARTY when you finish the game
23) New warm, cozy starship. I love the ebon hawk, and you should get to see it at some point. But you should have your own freighter (type/paint job of your choosing), and maybe a small scout starfighter for no-party missions.

25) A REALLY GOOD ENDING!!! k1 had a good ending, k2 wasn't so satisfactory; give us good endings for every alignment!

I think the best thing would be to finish the game first as a jedi, and then be able to choose between sith, non force-sensitive and such. The storyline would change of course, but they all play their role.

Like, for example, an intergalactic war breaks out with the joined forces of the Exchange, the remaining Mando Clans, the Czerka Corp and the Sith, against the Republic.


1ST PLAYTHROUGH:So, you make a new game and, as a jedi, you play your part in defeating the enemy, battling with sith in their temples and such, and you deliver the final blow to the enemy leader.


2ND PLAYTHROUGH:You start of as a fallen jedi who is willing to be trained by the sith. Then, you play your part in defeating the republic, and you deliver the final blow to the enemy leader.


3D PLAYTHROUGH:You start of as a bounty hunter who hasn't chosen sides yet, and you choose wether you want to fight for the Republic or the Sith, and you fight in space battles, as well as fight with the group of jedi (or sith, depends which side you chose) to deliver the final blow to the enemy leader.



CHOOSEABLE PLAYTHROUGH:Or even better, you get to choose which of the above you'd like to do...



Now, how does that sound ?
