Voice cast in MI1SE
Before the online playthrough of the MI1 SE last night the LucasArts fellow manning the game controls ran through the game credits.
The voice cast is pretty much as expected: Earl Boen plays both LeChuck and Fester Shinetop, and CMI's Elaine is back, as is the original voice of the Voodoo Lady.
Stan's VA from CMI is also returning (as opposed to his EMI voice actor).
Herman Toothrot, Otis, and Meathook are all played by their EMI voices.
The voice of Lemonhead has been changed, but that's because his voice actor from CMI (who also plays Otis, btw) is this time playing the original chief of the cannibals, "Red Skull."
(Proof that the MISE team are dedicated fans: Red Skull's name is only mentioned once in the original game, as a byline on one of the idols in front of the Monkey Head--a detail which the LucasArts guys didn't miss.)
The narrator of questionable necessity is in fact played by Denny Delk (aka Murray) who also plays one of the Pirate Leaders and the shifty map-selling Citizen of Melee.
(More proof that the MISE guys know their stuff: the voice credits mention that the names of the three Men of Low Moral Fiber are Franklin, Freddy, and Phineas--a detail that comes from the original MI1 demo, where their names are given as Frank, Fred, and Fin.)
The only voice actor not returning is that of Carla from EMI. This time around Carla's voice is supplied by the same actress who does the Voodoo Lady's.

I liked what I heard from Carla in the playthrough. Her voice (and her voodoo lady) increase the caribbean feeling of the island, which I love. Also some of the ambience sounds are good in heightening the carib feeling.

Indeed. He also plays the Melee lookout, one of the Fettuccini brothers, and the undead priest at the wedding ceremony.

His name... is Robert Paulsen (sorry, couldn't resist*)
Heh, and I could have sworn that Dom was talking to himself as the Mêlèe lookout. Oh well

I can hear him a little bit in the purple fettucini (then someone tells me he's the green one) but he sounds completely different as the lookout

Who does the voice of the head of the navigator? I don't remember seeing it in the credits, and I can't seem to find it anywhere online.

Lol, I thought that was a Fight Club reference at first
His voice reminds me of watching Animaniacs as a youngling.
