compile sdk under linux

hi all

im trying to compile the mod for linux, but I do not have idea where beginning

That I must do?

i have install opensuse and ubuntu with gcc

what IDE do you intend to use? Eclipse-CDT? Code::Blocks? or just use pure text processor (like gedit (gnome environment))

I've tried setting up Eclipse, but I couldn't get my hands on the CDT. Gave up after a while. I've uninstalled Ubuntu since (It did horrible things to my computer..)
I've only ever used VS - and from what I've read, there should be an easy way to 'export' the project files for an easy Linux compile. =\
