Dear God. Okay...honestly Quanon, this is beyond what anyone has done before in KOTOR modding.

Can someone please get this guy another award? Something along the lines of "supreme modeller"?

The roof... the roof... the roof is on fire!

seriously though... those stained glass panels give it even more of a Jedi/Sith crusades feel than the already fantstic stone castle does on it's own.

Ya know, for some reason i think the words 'Dark Templar' when i see those screenies.

Might just be me having played my RPGs a bit too much.

It does look that way, the effect had to be this strong or barely noticeable
Got a lot to learn to tweak materials, to get nice effects in my renders.
Mind that'll never be like this in the game. I will try to get at least the glass to be bright, hopefully with a faint glow effect.

Well, Redrob mentioned crusades and you're mentioning Templar, well you aren't to far off, to what I wanted this temple to be about.

It's not about great Sith Lord aka Dark Jedi being tombed at this place, but an order of Sith Warriors, which has history going back before the Dark Jedi even arrived on Korriban. Ofcourse everything changed cause of the influence of these "alien" visitors. Perhaps my temple thing is more like a cloister of some whack order of warriors.

Not that I'm going to write a ton of lore, it's more to make it clear this ain't tomb, well not on this level

Expect to find some need helmets and armour to wear. Few swords to swing about, good stuff ^_^

These pics kinda remind me of Assassin's Creed 2, because of the templar look and reminds of Dragon Age Origins, since Bioware did an awesome job but you're modules will make them fly through he roof of jealousy.

These screenshots just madness. I just wonder why you did not catch on or even Bioware to Obsidian? There, where you could teach something else (laughs).

Looks like you're using TSL Newbie, I'm making this for Kotor I, so can't do porting.
Besides, the "templar" will look more samourai like, darth vader stylish. So, yeah its a bit of an odd mix

Wow, looks awesome. I especially like the roof in pic #1 and the door frame in pic #3; I'm really liking the texture there. You've put Obsidian and Bioware to shame here! Keep it up, I can't wait to see the final product.

not really Quanon Darth Vader was actually heavily based on the samurai.

BTW keep up the awesome work

When I look at the above 2 pictures, there are 2 things that feels slightly odd. The floor and the wall at the end of the cathedral feels a little blank. This might be intended for the floor (having a shiny surface is okay), but the wall just feels a little empty. Screenie to see what I mean:

By the way, that is my only "complaint" as the rest is formidable enough!

Perhaps having the wall get the same texture than the rock texture would be nice.

Héhéhéh, thats because they don't have a texture yet
Its the standard grey 3Ds Max material.

I haven't decided what sort of texture to put on the wall and floor yet.
Good catch though, was waiting till somebody would mention it, ofcourse the hot glass was a perfect decoy

I wonder if you can find a Star Wars version of The Last Judgment by Michelangelo.

If you were gonna render something in 3D, I'd suggest something with fewer characters, like the Ecstasy of Saint Theresa (but with lightsabers ).

Actually I was thinking of something a line to the Arch Angel, fighting off Satan in dragon/snake/ beast form. I remember visiting a small church in the south-france with a reall cool looking battle. Done in a relief.

Think it might have been a sort of roman or gothic period, don't remember the details. Anyway, this would turn into a Sith knight fighting off a large Hsssiss beast
Sint Micheal stuff, thats what I'm mend

I know there's version, where its more like a big snakelike dragon whirling around, being stabbed by the spear.

Haven't really decided yet, how it's going to look like.

Mind its a render, not an ingame screenshot. It won't look bad ingame, but the lighting will very differant

If you wanted something with wings, I've still got that drexl skin I've made, and it works great with the drexl boss model.

God, all the dust in here!
Oh, hey, there folks. Thought I'dd left, thought this was dead?
Nah, just had a sort of "pause", time off, you know. Life certainly has a funny way of throwing things at you... buuuuut, where not here to whine about my life.

Nope. I'm back to report a small update. Nothing grand, as I'm just back into the whole modding thing. And I don't spend that much time on it anymore, as I used to.

Though I've entertained SithHolocron with some tasty tid bits of news on my modding business. But holding back isn't that much fun. So, time to show what've I been up to.

First; a test run my Korriban Temple in the game, most of it is in and works pretty without to a big flaws. Said most part, as I'm still texturing bits of this area.

Enough talk, picture time!

And to end some renders from the part I'm texturing.

Outstanding! My only little advice, without knowing any storyline stuff, it almost looks too clean to be, I'm assuming, an ancient temple/tomb. Maybe a broken statue here or there or crumbled wall. Regardless, awesome Q.
