Capes/Cloaks?

Is it possible? Has it already been done? If so, where?

I mean Vader/Lando Calrissian style: over the shoulders of the existing clothes/armor and not necessarily with a hood attatched.

Well, technically, it has been done, in the form of the Revan's Flowing Cape mod. But it took, from what I could tell, thousands of manhours in order to animate such a thing.

tl;dr version: yes it is possible, but I'm sure absolutely no one will want to do it.

Yeah, I kinda figured it was something like that, or it woulda been done years ago. I do remember people complaining about fixing Revan's stiff cape a few years back when I last followed this stuff...oh, well!
