Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of two Worlds

Lately there has been a ton of fighters. Capcom seeing positive growth and popularity with MVC2 being re-released online even in this dumpy economy gave them some hope and fire.

So now, according to PlayStation Magazine, it's official. (Forgive me if I'm just kind of following the article.) We will see a clash for the third time of Marvel's best VS Capcom's most beloved. Personally I gotta change my underwear b/c this is so exciting.

Will it be merely another rehash and recycle of the old 2-d platform fighter?
NO! It's being made with the same technology as Res. Evil 5 and the recently released Lost Planet 2. New Art Style, shading, prologues and epilogues for every character.

What on the gameplay? Capcom won't tell anything. Not now anyways.

Characters? 30 right now and growing strong or so the article says. Several new characters mixed in with the (by now with MVC, MvSF) usual crowd.

Capcom has
1) confirmed: Hulk, Wolverine, Iron Man, Chris Redfield, Ryu, and Morrigan Aensland.
2) hinted at: Frank West, Dr. Doom, Chun Li, Super Skrull, Dead Pool, and Captain America.

Release? ETA Spring 2011

How is Spiderman not confirmed? Other than that...can't wait!

Hey, if it's going to be anything like the last 2, the HAVE to put spider man in it.

I bet those M.U.G.E.N.-ites that made their own Marvel Vs Capcom 3 are kinda upset, but then again Capcom is pulling the rugs out from everyone. I.E. the team working on the Rockman Forever hack (of megaman 4) made a boss called Solar Man who used optical attacks; capcom comes out with megaman 10 and they have a boss called Solar Man who throws mini-suns at you.

I do know they are pulling out all the stops lately with their latest roster of games, so I'd expect some new characters from those.

Psh...they dont even have spidey on that illustration...that's an abomination if it's from a MvC game...*sigh* everyone knows Spiderman is the best character...
