trouble running compatability test

I have windows 7 professional, just dl'd kotor agian to play it, first is the link to the mss32.dll file no longer works, so i need that. second, if i install the patch, it tells me i have the wrong disk inserted, i dl'd the game from direct2drive. third, how do i find an run that compatability test on my pc?

Ok, now i got it to running now, i ran it as administrator and it worked this time. Now it will not let me replace a file in the swkotor.ini file. It tells me access denide, why is that?

My guess is that it's because you're using a limited (non-administrator) account. Just try reinstalling the game following the large-print instructions at the top of the second post in this thread.
