Unfortunately no, it's just a video. If someone could find a way to re-inject the audio into the game, it could be fixed in-game.

I just think the mom is too screechy. Guybrush's dad seems to do okay.

Also, they drew her to look like a drunken prostitute... Bit weird considering how she's drawn to look like someone from Little House on the Prairie in the original.

From what I've seen in the files, it looked like Guybrush's mother didn't have a lot of sprites, which makes sense of course since she has a small part. But anyhow, that also means it's probably easy to retouch her face and chuck it back in the game.

Hmm...everyone seems to be noticing the out of sync audio, but what about the bright tomato red overlay result? In the original, it's a darker, more ominous red from what appears to be a multiplicative blend (note the pure black coloration in classic mode), rather than what looks like an additive blend in the remake. Changes the tone for the scene a good deal IMO.

I noticed that too. The original seems to change the hue of the entire scene, this new version probably uses a red overlay, ends up being a bit orange and weird. Not that I mind much.
