The "Salt" (Theater Beverage) Drinking Game!
Dear Everyone,
If you are going to see the movie SALT tomorrow, starring the ubiquitous (and ubiquitously-lusted-after) Angelina Jolie, I challenge you to a drinking game when you go to the theater:
Every time you think, "YEAH RIGHT! THAT CAN'T HAPPEN!" take a sip of your theater beverage. How many sips will it take you to finish it? How quickly will you finish it? Will you need refills? How many? Popcorn and candy are allowed. How will your theater snacks interfere with the drinking game--or will it?
*throws down the gauntlet* Is anybody game for my "Salt" drinking game?

Sure, if it involves smuggling beer into the theater.

((Tysyacha does not condone the smuggling of alcoholic beverages into theaters, but to each his own! She disavows responsibility for the consequences of doing such a thing!))

What consequences? Enjoying the movie even if it sucks?

I'm game. If I get a chance to see it. Knowing how much of a cynic I am when it comes to such films I'll probably finish mine in the first quarter of the film.

I'm from Holland. Beer knows me.
They'd probably run out of beer in the theater, probably somewhere halfway through the movie. Which would be excellent timing because my blatter isn't made of steel.

a theater drinking game for me is a little bit more like, "how many airplane sized bottles of the Capt. do I have to dump into my coke to find this movie bearable?"

And this is why Picturehouse Cinemas win the day. No smuggling required.
That said, I'm not really a fan of watching new films with a drink, don't want to dull the senses. Though it would doubtless have made Clash of the Titans -- the reasons for my watching that still elude me -- somewhat more bearable.
