Advice for my second play through KOTOR
Hello... first time poster, long time lurker.
I'm finally getting around to my second play through KOTOR (I'll do a second play of KOTOR II afterwards), and I've come for a little advice/perspective.
My first play was on normal difficulty, using a scout/sentinel. My approach to the game is 50% RP, 50% maximize win... or there abouts. The scout, and particularly the sentinel, very much appeal to me... the sort of feeling you get when you come to a game and a certain class just makes sense to you.
This time, I'm going to up the difficulty to 'difficult' (though I've been made to understand that the game is still quite easy to beat). I'm thinking of trying something a little different class-wise. Part of me wants to try a scoundrel/sentinel for sneak attack and scoundrel's luck. The problem with this is two-fold: I wouldn't get HK-47 fully functional, and the character would have little/no Computer Use and Repair.
I could, of course, go consular and solve this problem, but there's just something about the consular which rubs me the wrong way (maybe it's the silly questions you get asked on Dantooine in choosing a jedi class). I can't wait for KOTOR II... Sentinel/Watchman = flawless victory.
Anyways... thoughts? Advice? I know it's something of a 'do what you'd enjoy more' question... but I'm genuinely stumped. Not being able to repair HK will be a slap in the face, but going consular just lacks the... flare of the sentinel.
I'm stumped. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
