Have you tried contacting the online vendor and providing the code and an explanation of your problem? Or were you hoping to avoid that route?

Unless somebody used a random code generator and it by some odd chance it got yours, or if you were showing your code to everybody and somebody happened to have photographic memory, it shouldn't be stolen.
