PC vs Mac
Ok so it's getting close to time for me to get a new computer, my current one is going bad. I have been really looking into different laptops trying to find one that's best for me. I decided to look into a Mac book and so far I am loving everything about it. I have never used a Mac before so I really don't know what to expect.
I was wondering if a could get some advise on which to get, a PC or a Mac? Should I stick with something trust worthy, something I'm use to and get a PC or take a chance and go for Mac?
Some Pros and Cons comparing the two would be nice, along with any other help.

Macs are ridiculously overpriced, and, IMO, offer very little (besides the trendy logo) to justify their high price tag. Just get a good Windows laptop and save yourself some money. Lenovo, Toshiba and ASUS are probably the best in terms of quality.

Yes, almost completely.
At MicroCenter you can buy a Mac that I consider a fair value in comparison to a Windows based unit. A fair value is maybe not clear enough parlance... This is, at least, not a pocket-rape based on a wormy chewed-on symbol.
The 13.3 Macbook $999.... you could get an ASUS with similar spec for around $800.... as I said, only a fair value/so-so value, but if you are not a big Windows gamer, Apple products do offer some ingenuity and novelty, look nice, and impress some people. Very popular with people in my line of work, to the point that I will soon build a FrankenMac just to be more familiar with the terrain. I will pay half to build it what I would spend to buy a same-spec Apple at the store, possibly even less than half.
PC here...

Both good points. I think I will stick with what I know, which is a PC. Thank you both. Now just need to decide which PC is right for me. Thinking about going with a netbook instead of a standard laptop. I've gotten used to not getting much use out of my current disc drive since it's about shot.

Don't go with a netbook if you want full PC functionality. At the present time netbook CPUs are woefully inadequate for anything but the most mundane of tasks. The Atom is roughly a third as powerful as a Pentium Dual Core CPU (the most gimped Core 2 Duo, which isn't even the most recent Intel CPU) at the same clockspeed. Get a real laptop if you want it for your main PC. If you want to use the Mac OS, then I would suggest H@ckint0shing.
