Charlie Sheen sacked from Two and a Half Men

Charlie Sheen gets paid £2m per show, and he has now claimed that he is under paid, and demands a pay rise of £3m per show. in return to his demands, they gave him the sack.

He was pretty much sacked after the radio comments from a week or so ago. Not overly smart to insult your boss on the radio. Better title would be Two and a Half Men sacked by Charlie Sheen because no matter how crazy Charlie Sheen appears he is correct in that that show could never go on without him.

Plus I don’t blame him for asking for a raise, do you know how expensive it is today to have two porn stars at your beck and call?

Well let me scrub my brain out with soap for that image mimartin.

Frankly I think someone needs to give a butt kicking to Sheen. He's been in trouble before and I seriously doubt that he would make a comeback. Plus he is a selfish bastard since he affected all the little peons who make the show possible besides his fellow actors.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy... No really, if he had been nicer, they might not have sacked his show.

Charlie Sheen is an addict. Sober he may be the most giving person in the world, but his addiction causes him to act like a jerk.

My real father was like that sober he was a great friend, dad and role model. Drunk…well as a drunk I did not see him the first 13 years of my life.

This outcome was pretty much inevitable.

I wonder if he'll ever work again, or if he'll just end up dying face-down in a puddle of his own urine and vomit.

*points @ mim* enough of your sappy sob story!

As for Charlie Sheen... who cares, people need to stop paying attention to her, but the entire population of asshats can't stop looking at him which is just fueling him to go on with his own asshattery.

Actually, this is just getting good. He's been ****canned, and now we get to watch his downward spiral into oblivion. Now the real drama begins.

Will he make a recovery, or will he die convulsing in the gutter like River Phoenix?

Is fascination with celebrity train wrecks unique to America or do other parts of the "civilized" world get in on this kind of action too?

The last movie I saw Charlie Sheen in was Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I've only watched a few minutes of the sitcom series he just got fired from and obviously didn't find it of interest to me. Too bad Charlie Sheen's antics have impacted the livelihoods of the rest of the cast and crew for the show.

Frankly, I don't understand how a lot of popular shows got that way. Most network tv sucks. As to Charlie, I guess his downward spiral will be more entertaining than his last role. Too bad for for the rest of the cast and crew that relied on that show for a paycheck.....but that's showbiz in all its ugliness.

But Charlie is a winner. I know it was on his tweet so it must be true.

Then again he may have been so high that he mistyped and meant to write “I’m a wiener.”

I'll grant you that much of the crew will need to find other work, yes, but I can't help but laugh at those who seem to think that the rest of the main cast will be in danger of living on the streets if they don't find work before long. Angus T. Jones, who plays Jake, has been making roughly $300,000 an episode for the last three years. He's the lowest paid actor on the show.

The cast will be just fine.

John Cryer was always the real talent in that show. I wish him well.

Duckie?

Yeah, he'll be fine, but has been and always will be Duckie to me.

Sheen on the other hand, as I saw Dr. Drew comment on in a plug for Celebrity Rehab, is going to wind up in a ditch somewhere. A shame, as he was really quite good for quite a long while. Waste of a perfectly good white boy.

I don't care for Charlie Sheen but I do like Charlie Harper. Two and a half man has been an orgasmic show for nearly a decade to me, always a good reason to laugh. Of course the TV moves on but I don't feel it was the show's time right now. Nevertheless, Sheen has dropped the ball. Again.

mimartin: I get where you're coming at with the addict tale. I have family who are recovering addicts and I remember the pain of that.

Still makes me wonder if the combination of drugs, alcohol and sex really messed Sheen up to the point where he just lost his marbles.

Who said anything about living in the streets? Or, for that matter, just the "main" cast? Most shows employ more than just 3 or 4 actors. I seriously doubt that many of the crew will be in the streets either as they are unionized and make pretty good money as a result. Still sucks, though, to have a narcissitic loser like Sheen prematurely take away your bread and butter.

It was fun to pretend to be that crew in the forum games. But it looks like your character lost it. What will Allan do without his dear brother?

OOPS!! You are correct, Totenkopf for some reason I was thinking that scene was from the Charlie Sheen/Emilio Estevez vehicle, Men at Work.

That was actually the first scene that came up when I plugged 'perfectly good waste of a whiteboy' into YT, b/c I couldn't remember Cusack's name. Actually found the name of his movie (Better Off Dead) in one of the comments under the Men At Work clip. Been a long time since I saw the M at W, didn't recall that line being used in it.
