Look in your video card driver control panel and see if 640x480 is listed among the supported resolutions. If it isn't, you'll need to create a custom resolution of 640x480.

I downloaded the HQ movie patch and resized them to 1280 width also, I don't know if i should have resized them smaller but i read they were set to 1600 width which my monitor doesn't support
