Unhappy KOTOR 2 crashes on Win7

Hi, guys! I've seen lots of topics, similar to this one, and saw that some of you could help me out.
Well, I have Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 32-bit, DualCore2Duo E6550, 2333 MHz. My videocard is NVIDIA GeForce 8600GTS.
I've got my hand on KOTOR 2 many years ago and played it well on XP SP2. But now that I have Windows 7 I have graphics issues. Earlier my videocard allowed me to play on the highest quality without crashing at all. But now my Win7 and videocard is not recognizible at all. Below I attached Config Report from KOTOR 2:

As you can see my videocard is seen as "RDPDD Chained DD" which is not good for the game.
I also did everything Astrotoy7 and Q said in this topic http://64.20.36.211/showthread.php?t=194324, by this I mean using compatibility installation and starting a game with XP SP2, patched the game through, replaced file mss32.dll.

In the game issues are seen through out as the following:
1. All movies are seen as shortcuts and not whole-screen.
2. I at first started a game with highest quality but starting the Prologue game was bugging so great that I figured that Frame Buffer Effects, Soft Shadows and V-Sync is preventing it. I disabled them, but on Peragus II it still crashed through out - difficulties with moving, Jedi Exile freezes while running, even though I had to lower quality to the lowest.

The same goes for KOTOR 1, but I didn't try it out right now with compatibility and replacing the files in main directory.
Can anyone help me out, please!

You need to do the Dantooine lag fix.

"They should rename the team to the Washington Government Sucks. Put Obama on the helmet. Line the entire walls of the stadium with the actual text of the ACA.
Fix their home team score on the board to the debt clock, they can win every game 17,000,000,000,000 to 24. Losing team gets taxed by the IRS 100%, then droned."

But as I heard it's only connected with ATI Radeon cards, and I don't really have it. My card is NVIDIA, and I doubt that installing latest Catalyst drivers will even fit. Or maybe I am mistaken?
Or you meant to Disable Vertex Buffer Objects in swkotor.ini? If so - I already tried that. And also - Disable Vertex Buffer Shaders=1 in [Graphics Options]. Plus - Environment Effects Streaming=0 in [Sound Options]. When setting highest priority through Task Manager game glitched and switched off, so I guess it's not the best solution. Am I right?

The fix needs to be in there, regardless of your video card.
