Not really into it, though I like the idea. I just was like....you know, I wanna do something fun and do something different...and zombie awareness popped in my head.

Yeah I enjoy the banter, errm earnest discussions of Zombie Apocalypse. Seems to be a general topic of interest to all my circles of friends.
I can totally appreciate wanting to do something different. My goth friends are helping me out with a new Halloween costume and that.
