I don't think this one needs a search at all. Going off what I know about its second installation (and it's a GREAT game for its type IMO), it appears to be

No, no. Nothing like that, just simply luck. I just so happen to be borrowing that same game right now.  (And can't play it since my machine is under spec. :¬: ) I'm also vaguely familiar with soul reaver or whatever it was called with Kain as the main star. More b/c a friend irl was crazy about it.
