Friday my local microbrewery "Pearl Street Brewery" offered a free pint for those that wore green. Couldn't pass that up and had my Growler filled up with their limited "Java Lava" coffee stout.
Saturday we went to the local "Dublin Square" Irish pub. ANd will never go their again. They have Americanized their "Irish Fare" and try to cater to the collage crowd with Drink specials. They had a limited menu for St. Patties day. I ordered the Sheperds pie, and got a Bowl of mashed potatoes with a meat sauce on top. My wife got Bangers and Crunch , got potatoes and salty greasy sausages that were practically inedible to her. It was so bad she had an upset stomach the whole day afterwards and the bathroom looked like a COllage bar's bathroom
But we were able to go down the riverside and enjoy the nice weather which is unseasonably warm in the upper 70s. Ended up going home and watching Babylon 5 for a few hours (In the first part of season 3 now, i got the whole series on DVD)
And I finished off my bottle of Glenlivet 12 year single malt scotch today

This was the first weekend of my local bowling association's championship tournament. I had a family commitment yesterday, so I couldn't be there, but I was there today, and I took my bicycle there, which was my first real trip on it in something like 2 years. I was sucking a bit of wind going up there (which is the killer way, as it involves 2 climbs, often with the wind in your face), but it was a bit better coming home (going downhill twice).
As for the actual bowling, there were no crazy scores, but I did see a bowler that I knew pick up the "Big 4" split (the 4-6-7-10)...very hard to do.

Pretty good run this morning. Good thing I checked before I started - it was definitely a t-shirt and shorts day.

Spent the weekend shuttling my sister and her friends to the City, and back from the city. I was the chauffer. Made 60$ USD out of it, and got some pretty hilarious videos out of it.

Kitty went outside and got wet (raining) then spent a half hour cuddling with me. Now almost 3am and i am going to pay for it tomorrow

started playing Mercenaries 2 World in Flames. It's pretty fun and kept me until it froze...and it glitched twice, guess the reviews were right.
Got my laundry in the wash...walked 2 miles here to print off my paper for tomorrow. going to pick up a couple movies for the night, walk back home and make some hot dogs for supper. then i'm going to play mercenaries 2. I may reconnect the original xbox and play some of my old xbox games like The Sith Lords....

Pretty good run this morning. I think I'm getting some of my strength back. But seriously...it's March and it's already too hot out at 7:00 AM to run. This trend needs to stop ASAP.

Spring break at college.
You'd never know it by my work schedule.
It's actually been a bit slower than usual... but still: in every day.
Maybe I'll try to sleaze tomorrow off.
It's going to be in the mid-80's here. Nobody should be expected to work under those conditions!
Finally broke down and got Netflix. Been catching up on all those "Must-See!" movies and TV shows I've missed for the last couple of decades.
I shouldn't have bothered. I've yet to see anything to make me wowed to the point of regretting ever missing them in the first place.

Worked 10 hours today. 2pm to 1 am (1 hour of breaks). Tho since I have am on not "on-incentive" (basically a program to reward higher productivity) I am not allowed to take voluntary overtime, but only mandatory... which will only happen in a couple of weeks.
Work has been hectic because it seems with the record highs we are getting a lot of people started doing spring clean up work. .. I spent the last 4 days restocking patio furniture in the bins

And so it begins...the TFN Jedi Council forums have begun the move from IGN to their own server. They have temp forums up, but I'm waiting until the data from the old forums have been converted and imported, at which time they'll send me a new password.

I used to post on TFN a little. Like back when the prequels were coming out. Haven't been there in years, though. The thing I remember most is this guy, Bib Fortuna, Twi'lek, who always insisted that everything was canon and nothing really contradicted anything else if you read it the right way. He was really passionate about the EU!

I started to. saving for trip to ocean city.
went out last night...very bad idea. ran into my "ex". **** emotions. **** them in the ass. I have a hard time letting **** go. And to see her flirting with other guys, lucky i was sober enough after 4 red deaths, 1 kamikaze shot, and 2 screwdrivers i didnt flip the bar upside down. maybe there's a extremely hot girl out there (LOCALLY) that will just love me for me and not try to change me or be overly critical of me.

There was a 300 game last night at my bowling center, and one of my friends caught the last strike on video and posted on Facebook. Since I couldn't find a way to share it either as my association's page or as my own user on the association's wall, I had to d/l the video with RealPlayer. After orienting the video correctly in Windows Live Movie Maker (the video was shot sideways), I uploaded to YouTube and posted on the association page. It's also on my blog.
I want to do more of this kind of thing.

It must be pretty nerve-wracking to stand up there and get ready to throw the final ball in a possible 300 game.

Was busy w/ my bowling association's tournament all weekend, and I got to see a big score put up by one of our Hall of Famers in his team event yesterday, an 816 (games of 258, 279, and 279). I was given a big thank you by my association manager before everyone went home today, which, for me, made the long days worth it.

Good luck...
A fairly good start to the week with a strong 5+ mile run this morning. Had a lot left in the tank at the end, so I should be able to get it done faster. I'd like to get the five mile time down to 35:00, which is about the pace I was running when I had to stop last time because of injuries. Then maybe I can get it down more from there. I'm not sure I care to run any farther on a daily basis, though. Maybe eventually I'll make Friday a day for a longer run, though. We'll see.

The GF bought me flight time with an instructor for yesterday... but the weather grounded us.
I'm making an appointment to do it for later in the month.
This will be fun!
She's encouraging me to go take lessons and get my pilot's license. I'll check into it. If I can find the time, I'll go for it. I should be able to afford it, as long as I can pay-as-I-go.
Got my taxes done over the weekend too... over 5-grand back. Mom put the house in my name, and I took all the deductions on it! Sweet!

Ugh. It's 5:23 AM and I am at work. My mom is going on vacation, so I drove her to the airport this morning. So I just came straight to work after that. I got here just before 5:00 AM. That...is too early.
